Sampled Oud Wood and found it very good, was gifted Oud Noir and found it very good. I’d choose Oud Noir for the price point and ability to overspray without losing financially.
Blind bought the versace oud noir. First smell i was immediately repulsed. Thought all those reviewers were mistaken. Fast forward 4 weeks and its my favorite scent in a collection of 20. I just cant get enough of it. So seductive and classy.

I had oud wood for one year. I barely used it. Sold it and bought versace oud noir. It's same in opening but dry down is different. Still great fragrance. I picked for $60 100ml.

How would you recommend testing each of these? I have a travel stick of each and like them both, but I want to be objective. Also, is Oud Noir discontinued?
Oud wood is one of my all time favourites, just so intoxicating. I've tried Versace Oud Noir several times to see if it would work as a cheaper option, but there's a note in it that really doesn't vibe with me. So IMHO, sorry to have to disagree 😅 it's TF Oud Wood hands down winner 🏆

Very luxurious and not sharp. But very projecting. The dry down is the vanilla. Not like vanilla mixed with tobaco or anything but sweet sexy vanilla, almost like chocolate vanilla. Know any fragrance that represents the frag? Please help me.

Oud Wood is nice but Oud Noir has more than twice the longevity on me. It's been a fantastic replacement for discontinued Versace Man.

Gucci intense oud over both. lol I love Oud Wood too, just doesn’t last long enough but overspraying is never not an option.

Oud noir lasts 20 mins. Oud wood at least 6-7 hours. Much better quality too. How is this even a question?

Oud Wood smells more interesting to me and it lasts longer on my skin than Oud Noir. But I do like both.
