I love how these guys are piling on The Rock, one of the most over and successful wrestlers ever, when neither one of these guys drew anything long term. Hell, Waltman never drew anything, and it's his own damn fault. When Waltman had his head screwed on right, he could fucking go. He could work, he knew the business, he could have been one of the best ever but he just didn't care enough. If Waltman could have kept his nose clean and stayed off the drugs, he could have been as big as at least Jericho or Mysterio. He'd still probably be a hand today. I don't know that he'd have been a top, top guy, but he would have been a solid upper midcard guy. Probably could have helped a lot of younger guys, too. And Nash was fortunate enough to either get the rub from Shawn Michaels, or land in a hot angle that Bischoff stole from new Japan. I bet Nash really thinks he drew in the 90's. No dude, you carried Shawn Michaels' bags, and then Bischoff spoon fed you the nWo. You were never a draw, that's why Vince let you go even after being champ for a year. The nWo was the draw. Honestly, and easily to conclude that there is a 40% chance Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wins a street fight between him and Kevin Nash, 50% Nash wins, and 10% chance they beat the hell out of each other to a “draw.” I give Nash the edge because of his enlistment in the United States Army (having a Military Police MOS) and achieving the rank of Specialist, even as a Marine myself, I’ll give Nash a bit of credit for it.
as a samoan wrestler the rock could destroy these two in a physical confrontation but i can see from nashs point of view that he wanted to be seen as dangerious to the crowd in his return
I agree with you 100 percent. I really think Warriors music and him charging the ring did alot to make that character. When you heard that music play you had to watch because the match could be over in seconds.
I speak all of this from 15 years of experience running a successful wrestling promotion. So don't try to pull bullshit on me. 3 of my guys are on the WWE roster right now.
Correct. Even some of his early WCW stuff. There's a WCW match between himself and Bret Hart (it's easy to spot cause Hogan has no mustauche in it) and they do some pretty good chain wrestling. Also, some of his matches against Muta and others in Japan show he could certainly 'wrestle'. I mean, the guy was trained by Hiro Matsuda, a legendary pure grappler.
So were you not there for the 90s or you just don't remember it? WCW beat WWE for 2 years straight, from the formation of the nWo up until summer of 1998. The nWo was Bischoff's project, arguably the biggest angle, and definitely the biggest stable in wrestling history.
Thanks for your input! This clip is from the Shoot Interview that we did with RF Video. While they didn't "bury" Hogan or The Rock, they did share some unique experiences with them and we felt many people would like to hear that. You're right though, perhaps not as many people would click on this video if it was titled "Nash & X-Pac speak kindly on their friends Hulk & Rock"...but our intention was not to mislead anyone. Simply another interpretation of the word "shoot".
They couldnt bury Duanne if he was dead and they had a 100 foot hole with a 30t Excavator. They would find a way to fall in that very hole and the wind and rain would fill it over there useless carcasses!!
I partied with Shawn plenty good guy. I have also met Kevin, good guy. They are friends with Marcus Bagwell. Buff is a good guy but what a fucking thing to deal with. So what they say about Hulk is one thing, these guys hang out with Marcus Bagwell, an absolute mad lad.
They love the Hulk because he probably gave them the high they're on in this clip. "A day without pot is a day without sunshine" - Terry Bolea (Hulk Hogan).
They're not really "shooting" on Hulk. They're saying at the time when they didn't "know" him, they didn't respect him. But after working with him and getting to know him, they respect him.
Bart Springer maybe not in actual technical ability but Professional Wrestling is based on scripts, acting and entertainment. Hogan took wrestling to the big time came back to WWE and was number one draw again, huge fanbase, whipped up a frenzy in the crowd, He went into movies - opened doors for Vince to have his own movie studio, allowed other wrestlers to get on the screen, The Rock wouldn't be in movies if Hulk hadn't opened the door, I think Hogan is a douche but I have to give him his dues. If we are talking best technical wrestlers I personally can't see past - Mr Perfect, Bret Hart, Dean Malenko, Chris benoit, Kurt Angle and a couple others. But they weren't all good on the mike, they didn't all get the crowd going mad, they were never THE star attraction, Hulk did and was. anyway, that's what I think for what its worth.

thewelshviper we don't know who would win in real life fight, the rock is fucking huge nash is taller but muscle wise there both big guys I say its 50/50 non of them have a fighting background like say Brock lesnar so it's really a toss up..
Gene Bone you are an idiot.. Not gonna even waste my time
Honestly, and easily to conclude that there is a 40% chance Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wins a street fight between him and Kevin Nash, 50% Nash wins, and 10% chance they beat the hell out of each other to a “draw.” I give Nash the edge because of his enlistment in the United States Army (having a Military Police MOS) and achieving the rank of Specialist, even as a Marine myself, I’ll give Nash a bit of credit for it.
X-pac has aged good over the year's. Dude still looks the same I swear that he did in the late 90's.
Nash really does think he's the shit. He isn't even in the same ball park as The Rock. Lowest drawing WWF champion of all time, fact.
Why is it sad? Not only did he give high praise to everyone he spoke about, he also spoke straight-up.
as a samoan wrestler the rock could destroy these two in a physical confrontation but i can see from nashs point of view that he wanted to be seen as dangerious to the crowd in his return
Nash: Fuck you I got like 5 moves, I'd like to get all 5 in!
LOL
Nash has no right to make fun of anyone's injuries. He tore his quad by WALKING. In fact, I'm shocked he didn't rip his quad during this interview.
Xpac looks and sounds like he hasn’t slept in days 😂
I love how nash tries to act tough and talk shit and then grabs his wine glass...yeah..tough guy
GOOD VIDEO GUYS. I BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR WORK AND I RESPECT WHAT YOU GUYS DO. AS A DIE HARD "RASSLIN'" FAN I FOR ONE ENJOY THE VIDS. THANKS GUYS!!
2:30
"Fuckin' flip fuckins" love it. XD
I agree with you 100 percent. I really think Warriors music and him charging the ring did alot to make that character. When you heard that music play you had to watch because the match could be over in seconds.
I love how they're sitting so close, leaned into each other whilst Kevin elegantly sips wine. The whole is absolutely adorable.
I speak all of this from 15 years of experience running a successful wrestling promotion. So don't try to pull bullshit on me. 3 of my guys are on the WWE roster right now.
Does X-Pac even get older? He looks like exactly the same like back in the days lol.
***** Dudes' found the fountain of youth or something...incredible
only his belly ages
the cocaine keeps him young
Kris AtKSO cocaine usually does the complete opposite and makes ppl look older..
@@Marvel_vs_Capcom84 maybe he had an opiate problem cause that shit will keep you babyfaced as long as you eat
Pat Paterson is such an underrated booker in the business
5:00 Patterson impression lol
Could these dudes get any closer?
Man I always had high hopes of Xpac having such an amazing career. His career immediately went down the drain as soon as DX split.
I have to admit I enjoy hearing about Hulk from someone that does like him instead of the same hate every time.
samoan wrestlers are taught to fight for many years before wrestling so they know how not to hurt their opponents my dear sir
How fucked up is X-Pac during this video hahaha.
I don't know why I watch interviews with my favourite wrestlers....It's just killing my childhood idols to see what they are really like.
U so right
You can tell that when X-Pac scratched his arm, that wasn't the spot that he intended to scratch, that's how fucked off he is.
Waltman looks so WASTED in this clip. Damn...
Nash punked the rock lol, samoan blood, must have been Nash xpac and hall there too. Bring in rikishi and umaga.
thank you, i was thinking the same thing
And Haku
Rocky Rocky Rocky 😂😂😂
Stone cold 3:16 just weep your Candy ass Rocky
It's amazing that in all these interviews Kevin Nash is lucid as hell & Waltman appears to be somewhere between 6-9.8 on the messed up meter
That Pat Paterson impression was spot on.
OMG Kevin Nash and X-Pac? WTF thought they were dead LOL
X Pac looks like the frontman/singer from "Rage Against The Machine", Zach De La Rocha.
Great interview
Kevin Nash is The Dude from Big Lebowski on the juice
From 1996 to 1998 approximately. When WCW was the No.1 wrestling promotion in the world.
they're both stoned as fuck xD
Lol, these two couldn’t carry the rocks wrestling boots.
I did not understand a thing. All i heard was 2 drunks throwing around a bunch of F words and slurs
What do you have against Hogan?
Nash is nowhere the star The Rock is.
and they quickly realised they were wrong and learned all that they could from him.
Why did you leave that part out? Strange.
Love the Monty Python reference!
They love the Hulk because he probably gave them the high they're on in this clip. "A day without pot is a day without sunshine" - Terry Bolea (Hulk Hogan).
They are as high as a Georgia pine!
They gave Hulk his props, called him the greatest of all time and both agreed.
X-PAC looks stoned
+speirsy Was his left arm in Big Daddy's Ass??? LMAO!!!
@@michaelsaenz HAH!
4:29 I only got 5 moves, I'd like to get all 5 in! 🤣
kevin nash teared his quad during this interview lol
They're not really "shooting" on Hulk. They're saying at the time when they didn't "know" him, they didn't respect him. But after working with him and getting to know him, they respect him.
Nash must be loaded......Hulk Hogan the greatest of all-time?
If not Hogan, who is the greatest?
HBK, Ric Flair, Bret Hart even......
Bart Springer LISTEN. NO ONE IN THE HISTORY OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING SOLD MORE TICKETS THAN HULK HOGAN --- FACT - WRESTLEMANIA III - 90,000 FANS
Okay, just because he drew the most fans ever doesn't mean he's the best professional wrestler ever.
A shoot interview does not have to be insulting.
