You guys need to stop ranting an simply get with life. This pursuit would have ended badly if it wasn't for the dumb skill of a murderer and a trained officer. I give credit where credit is due, however there are plenty of things that were dangerous and above all outrageous. In the end, the guy killed his GF and he had to go down. Either leaving the scene in the back of a car or a coroner's van. Props to the officers and a kick in the ass for the suspect. Great pursuit though, seemed like movie material.
Hats off to the amazing police officer leading the chase. Incredible skills; he was all over the perp through evasive twists and turns like a cheetah after prey. Officer rode the perp even before, after and during attempts to box him in. At 5:10 Trooper starts hauling.
As someone who’s lived in NJ for most of his life, it must’ve been easy, seeing as how those troopers practically know those streets, so keeping pace wouldn’t have been a challenge, especially since the area in near the George Washington Bridge, which brings lot of traffic, so the perp had limited options for an escape route to begin with
Some fantastic driving by the officers in this video! What truly astounds me, though, no matter how many of these pursuit videos I watch, are the imbeciles who put along, never seeming to clue in to lights and sirens and what's going on around them. Wake up and move the eff over, people!

I would enjoy seeing the view of the capture from some of the other dashcams in the patrol cars. Even without other views, this was one hell of a dangerous chase, for ALL. The troopers knew their goals and set into motion a well orchestrated high speed high stakes pursuit that ended with their targeted goal achieved. GOAL=A clean capture where No Officers or Citizens will be killed or harmed, during this intense situation. GREAT JOB!
6:57 the white car in the right lane starts drifting over after the Crown Vic passes him doing like 130mph on the right, and almost drifts into Conboy.
Fleeing and eluding should be a ten year felony and going wrong way on a freeway like he did? Attempted Murder....15 year felony and the sentences stack up!
+Nik Brudar Its not that the dashcam can't record in higher quality... its that 360p takes up less memory space so then they can record more footage... it just makes sense... if 360p works just as well as 1080 or 720 then why not use 360...
these cameras are needed for 8-12 hours of continuous recording per shft, after every shift they are uploaded via secure internet to the MDC, then to the precinct / station archives. OK, enough is enough. I'm a Pilot/Escort Driver for Oversize Loads. I too use dash cams and they do a great job...if you only want to see what's going on in front. I've been thinking a lot during my 100k miles per year job and what I want is a 360 degree roof cam that is low profile and can mount either with a mag base or to the top of my amber light or in this case, the first responders class 1 light. When something happens, it usually has a story coming up from behind us that is not seen as it transitions around us. Designers need to remote the head to keep it small and light weight with a cable going inside the vehicle to the control module and recorder, where it's safe from exterior damage/tampering. The best product would simply incorporate the 360 system into the professional class of light bars for Law Enforcement and any commercial class vehicle. Filters can cancel out the effects of the various lights. There's a market for it if a company, engineering college, or an investor would tackle this. The tech has been here for a long time and is a fun DIY. Just needs a lot of polish and that purpose built engineering to make it a great product for the Public Safety sector.

That cop that took off in the right lane looked like he hit the R/C ProAm Nitro button
Johnny Knoxville he prolly that typa cop to take his squad car home and add some installs😂
Christopher Wilhite straight up facts
Need for Speed cops in a nutshell.
THE POWER OFFF THE VIIIICCCCC
That man is MVP for blocking off traffic like that up ahead.
That was unreal. Why did you cut the video off? Damn...
Whatever that officer makes should be doubled. What skillful driving and dedication and courage. We must pass laws that are so severe for fleeing that these people will think twice before running from the police. Maybe an attempted murder charge or something?
Many attempted murder charges, Estimate how many vehicles were in harms way, double them, then charge accordingly. Thats what would make people think again. But then again, that wont stop these kinds of morons to try anyway
At 1:57 the pursuing officer could have just plowed into the back of his car during his turn on the highway ramp. It was at a moment of low speed and no other traffic around. Too bad.
Mark Malasics in real life too
the cop didnt have the power the catch and pit him at that point
the cop did good just keeping out of the wall and you dont want to plow his ass at that speed and him shuck to the left and make you look stupid

im 3 years late but .... hey
That Crown Vic is a beast! Impressive driving by Officer Conboy.
To all the Brothers and Sisters of these police departments who chased and caught this guy hats off to you and thank you!! you are simply one a kind who do this stuff day in and day out!! THANK YOU
Thank you, I am sure Fake news & democ Rates disagree with you
Nope
Amazing that it went that long, you know, traffic jams and all. Well done cops!
Awesome job staying with that driver. Much respect! You guys certainly earn every penny you work for!
Finally the US cops seem to have a patrol car that both handles well and has guts.
he was in a Taurus the crown vic is the best US police car
Hell of a job on the driving! The officer whose dash cam we were viewing was on point, no matter what move the suspect made... the cop was right on him.
When the old crown victoria passes by everybody 😂😂😂 6:50
Seriously, the crown vic is more of a "get to the scene of a shooting" then a "end a police pursuit" kinda car.
Or maybe because the cops started buying those dodge charger thingys and the Taurus cost a lot for less performance because its a premium sedan, not a big v8 that can accelerate
NEVER! ..underestimate a Ford interceptor.
SCAV Army
SCAV Army - are you serious!?!?!?!? At best, keystone cops!
+Shamayah - you're an idiot. They were obviously keeping damage to a minimum.
MikeDunn - listen you mental midget reject, you wouldn't know the difference between good procedures and bad ones!
SCAV Army
Dumb skills? He was driving very well for a criminal trying to escape murder charges.
People in the west are just better trained drivers.

Conman? He was a murderer.
Some fantastic driving by the officers in this video! What truly astounds me, though, no matter how many of these pursuit videos I watch, are the imbeciles who put along, never seeming to clue in to lights and sirens and what's going on around them. Wake up and move the eff over, people!
I know, man, they're total idiots. They should have a department for the city that's reviews every chase. If you don't move over for lights and sirens, they run your license plate and send you a big, fat ticket.
@@RollinCoco-Nut I like that idea!
I dedicate this comment to all the Police and Sheriff Departments and to all officers of all colors and ethnicities, made today during a terrible time for our men and women who serve. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE and MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL as we move forward to heal. Let us help one another help each other, and the only way we can do that is I ask this in Jesus name, the Name above all names. Amen.
Somebody got their adrenaline fix this morning, to be sure! Good job officers
I'd like to know what the driver was wanted for. He's gonna get a lot more prison time now though. That's for sure.
If I had to guess, a large amount of drugs. If he can get away, even for a few minutes, he can stash it, claim he wasn’t driving etc. If he has a large amount of crack 15-20 years. Might make a man run. Don’t do drugs people.
Im retired officer jhon brinell and this is worlds wildest police Chase's!
(Keep it going)
Now that's what I call a Hot Pursuit!
my right ear really enjoyed that.
Driver should get 10 yrs minimum for putting so many people at risk! I had no idea what police go through on the job. They deserve a raise!
GREAT JOB!

Just quietly, I really wanna see a PIT at about 100 miles an hour!
Arkansas state police pit maneuver. Look it up on TH-cam. 119 mph
6:57 the white car in the right lane starts drifting over after the Crown Vic passes him doing like 130mph on the right, and almost drifts into Conboy.
I'm from the bama Georgia line, I know some badass cops when I see them. I have much respect for these Yankee cops, they know how to drive
Damn, that was intense !! Good job NJ Police !! Serious driving skills.

dalco0258 he was wanted for murder.

Fleeing and eluding should be a ten year felony and going wrong way on a freeway like he did? Attempted Murder....15 year felony and the sentences stack up!
filmed on november 2015 and all your camera is capable of is 360p?!
+Nik Brudar 360p holds up in court about as well as 1080p.
Jesse Allen sure, but not on YT. And even court could see more minor details if the quality was up to standards.
Sound is only activated when the emergency lights are activated. Let that sink in, EIGHT TO TWELVE HOURS of CONTINUOUS RECORDING!
***** Today's modern technology allows for higher quality 12-hour filming.
Much respect to these brave NJ State troopers!
No respect for these trooper that have no respect for the drivers all aroudn them that are squarely in danger from the cops

Moving right for emergency vehicles is optional in Jersey?
They gave this guy waaaaayyyy too much room to run. Should've boxed him in miles ago!
That's what I said but they have to keep the other innocents in mind...like I said I would have taken him out when that truck {police came from right} I would have slammed my unit right into him and the guardrail, This is new training procedures to stop felons without damage. Basically damage control.
to attorney general guidelines in jersey that you can only follow, no pit maneuvers, no boxing in, basically just follow until they run out of gas, crash, or give up
+Sal S Typical democrat nanny state.
+Mr. White Well Jersey is alot smaller and probably has twice the population so those kinds of actions are unsafe. Not all of us live in crusty inbreadland
not at all most police departmetns should back off and let a chopper take over. Its safer that way and then they cna blame the suspect for any crashes they cause and not the pursuing officers.
I give the Highway Patrol a lot of credit for getting in front of this and making an effort to protect the public, but they did have many opportunities to pit the guy.
อ
Should never allowed the criminal to do that. A rifle round or two could have safely ended this much earlier
where's a pit???
+Christopher Fier Bruce Willis
A lot of departments are not allowed to use the pit. I hardly ever see it used on the east coast
+Christopher Fier I was thinking the same thing. Plenty of chances to do so, but probably the had to think about the safety and the rights of the piece of human garbage they were chasing. Also someone else mentioned that certain departments may not have authorization to do PITs. Too bad. They could have ended the chase long before the traffic stopped it.
+stephens2007 yep its not allowed here in Miami!
ya all across the east coast and only some southern states they do not allow the pit maneuver
There were three opportunities to stop it before the Turnpike....Just saying...Good Job, Don't let them EVER get away.
What performance mod is he using for Gta 5
if nj state police were allowed to pit this could have ended way sooner
yeah new jersey is a stupid democrat state thats why they cant pit.

I agree. Should've gotten called of the chase, as soon as that happened. I'm surprised it didn't.
This cop don't know what the hell he is doing! When the suspect bucked that right turn right at the 2:00 mark, the officer was supposed to pit em right there. It wasn't any cars in the way, and the speed was low enough for a pit, and not to mention that a pit maneuver is at its easiest when the suspect is making a turn! The officer should have turned right into his bumper and pitted em right there, but he didn't, smh!

The first few minutes of this were absolutely nuts. Could not count how many drivers reacted in a split-second to avoid head-on collision. Kinda wonder if that cop got into hot water by following him wrong way, There was no he could have avoided being part of any wreck there. Never expected for this to end without crash or bloodshed. Props!
I'm amazed that nobody pulls over to get out of the way on these videos.

Check the 360 camera setup
