Casting patrick wilson as ed warren is just like casting robert downey jr as ironman. Just perfect. Couldn't imagine anyone else but him to play that character
I’ve met him a couple times and he is the nicest man ever. The first time, I’ll always remember this, was on a bus from NYC back to Montclair. He was with his family and I had been a huge fan of his for a couple years, this was a couple months maybe before the first Insidious movie came out. He sat behind me and I turned around completely awkward and just apologized and had to introduce myself. He was so sweet after I said sorry again I turned back around in my seat and a little later he tapped me on the shoulder to continue the conversation asking what I was doing in the city, what I major in (I was at Montclair State) just showed his actual interest in me as a person. I’ll always remember that.
I WILL SCREAM THIS FROM THE TOP OF MY LUNGS TILL THE DAY I DIE, “CONJURING 2 IS ONE OF THE BEST MODERN HORROR MOVIES” they seriously went all out for that movie.
Javier Botet also played the final creature in [REC], the mutated witch in IT part 2, the leper in both IT movies, Slenderman in the titular movie and the ghost in Mama! None of that is CGI. He’s great, I totally recommend checking out his work.
the conjuring movies does actually give audiences good life lessons. have faith, trust in love, and that despite suffering good does triumph over evil. i hate the jumpscares, i am very weak haha, but i can trust that a conjuring movie will end well for the good guys and that makes it better for me
those are great points, i didn't think of that before. might be part of the reason i enjoy them so much? i do love the jump scares, though, they're half the reason i watch these type of movies. lol. but i do love that they have happy endings, basically. it def makes them much much better than others of its kind.

I love Watchmen and Wilson's performance, but I don't know if I'd say it was his best. He was probably the most sympathetic character though. Lots of great performances on that film. Jackie Earl Haley was intense as hell. Carla Gugino was great, Jeffery Dean Morgan nailed the role of The Comedian (and made him a sort of tragic character in a way I never really felt from the comic.)
Him and Vera Farmiga will always be the Warrens to me.. I love that their on scene chemistry reminds me that the Warrens were so in love..I love the real Warrens but there is no one better to play them...

i LOVE that they were promoting and sharing images of the Crooked man... a nun is creepy. but the crooked man i found way scarier... hes tall hes an imagination of terror.. the way he moved and talked.... we NEED his spin off now
