  • Morphic Resonance: An Introduction
    In his hypothesis of formative causation, British biologist Rupert Sheldrake has theorized that the forms of self-organizing systems are shaped and governed by invisible fields of morphic resonance.
    According to his theory, these fields are built up over time to contain the collective memory of like substances and organisms, influencing their structural formation and patterns of activity through resonance.
    Geese, for example, would share a collective informational field, accrued over the entire period of their existence, which organizes and informs their growth and behavior.
    A human example of such fields would be Swiss psychologist Carl Jung’s collective unconscious.

      Probably... Interesting to note that the original Greek word for carbon is 'Andrakas' Something like a combination of 'andra' (man) and 'akash' which probably originally means 'story' or 'record.'

      Really? That's fasinating. So that's what it is the record of everything that every was, is, or will be? It's the instructions of where everything goes it is arranged? (Maybe we are in a computer program)?? I'm kidding but it's fascinating to me!

      Edgar Cayce claimed he could access the Akashic records and he has over 10,000 documented cases in his library in VA Beach. He helped them with various health issues by going into a trance and then dictating to his secretary what was wrong with the patient. He only wanted to know their name and location.

      the sanskit word 'akasha' was intoduced into theosophy in1831-1891 by blavatsky (satanist) - the akashic records were surppossidly accessed by edgar cayce who wrote the 'book of life'

    Buddhism has a very similar concept of "memory in nature".
    Hinduism/theosophy call this "akashic records" and it was believed that these records were transmitted vibrationally, not unlike in the morphic resonance hypothesis.

      @KibyNykraft ปีที่แล้ว

      Well in a sense, given that "formative causation" and the knowledge of resonance is based on early Einsteinian relativity physics (SR)/charge and plasma science (and thereby classical particle mechanics). Although what he does is turning it upside down by mixing up this with monotheistic religion (which was always only empire-style politics, always dogmatically trying to divert or put obstacles to science). At the end of the day he is just another postmodernist. Among the abstracted mathematics thugs

    He is basically talking about the Akashic Records. Information engraves itself into the fabric of Reality making it available in everypoint of reality and making it last forever. This happens because Reality is itself a conscious system (Universal Mind).

      Yea, a number of these are weak examples;
      eg. the multiple inventors example. Personally, I think that gets explained by cultural zeitgeist quite well.. aka our tech & cultural landscape is too far from [X], but at some point, the gap/ space between not-making and making certain discoveries/ implementations; and some of the larger-scope minds are able to then bridge that gap.

This does not, however, preclude things that are not necessarily defined as biological creatures (such as viruses, amino acids, lipids and other types of basic biological building blocks) from being able to "evolve" as well.
      Not only are these semi-biological chemical compounds, but the word "evolution" is not exclusively limited to biological phenomena.

    Can't it be that instead of a field of information, the information is contained within the body? So if an organ is transplanted, the information is inside the organ, not in a field, if a butterfly is born on the migration route, it knows where to go because in its DNA or somewhere in its body there is the information, and if I experience a trauma my children will acquire a related fear without being aware of it, because it's passed on genetically?
    Why are we talking of fields? Is the field non-local?

    • @TheNCGardener
      @TheNCGardener 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The bible states that there is nothing new under the sun. Could it be that ALL information that was , is or will be is already in existence. Maybe it is given or released when the time is right, and after that, anyone can have access to it? The testimonies of people who have used DMT state that they get "data downloads" of so much information that you can't absorb it all or remember it. But, maybe it gets imprinted in your DNA to be inherited by some one that comes after you. Sounds like the makings of a good Sci-Fi movie .
