So Jackson is actually Chinese but he’s a Kpop idol in a group called got7 but he also does a lot of solo stuff he made his own record label called team wang and his solo stuff is mostly in English
and his music is amazinggggggg =)

Jackson is from China, but he pursued music by starting as a kpop idol. He's part of a group (of crackheads like BTS lmao) called GOT7. He's fluent in 6 languages. Probably comes from his international school background in education. He's actually a pro at fencing because his dad is an Olympic fencer. His mom is an Olympic gymnast (if I remember right) so he basically grew up in a family that loves sports. He got a Stanford scholarship for his fencing skills, but decided to pursue music instead because it's something that he loved. Now, he has his own record label based in China that's called Team Wang 😊 he's still active in GOT7 tho. And him and Namjoon are really good friends. He loves Joon so much 😂 they have like a bromance 😂 u should watch compilations of them together and of course more. Of Jackson's and GOT7's music
Yeah, Jackson Wang is so talented and unique. I can say he's good at almost everything (rapping, singing, dancing, composing & producing music, playing sports, acting, speaking many languages...). And also GOT7. 👍

Jackson is a Chinese rapper/singer who is part of a kpop group call got7. And he have his own label in China at the beginning was like tree people working and now the Team Wang is almost 50 people, so basically he produced himself. He comes from a family of olimpic athletes, and used to be compet as a fencer. Jackson is so humble and human, so kind with everyone. And he always introduced himself as "Jackson Wang from China", so basically he stand up for his culture and represent that EVERY interview on everywhere. I love him so much ❤️
BTW, a good way to difference the Asian people is through their eyes and shapes of their faces

actually, he is from Hongkong he speaks multiple languages and also he was a saber fencer for Hong Kong's fencing team. He was ranked eleventh in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and won first place at the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships in 2011 he is one of the members fro got7 in Korea but this song and team wang belongs to his own label that's why all his solo songs under name of team wang for this clip directed by American actor and director daniel 'Cloud Campos and that 4 dancers are pretty famous in the USA actually they called kinjaz

The story behind the video, (yeah, there's always a story, lol) is based on the The Butterfly Lovers, Liang Zhu (Chinese "Romeo & Juliet" legend and movie about them)-at least, this is the most popular fan theory (I agree, BTW). The hand movements are jutsus (art of ninja) and dance crew Kinjaz were the dancers with him. When the video opens, through their jutsus, they summon Warrior Jackson from the dead and he in turn sacrifices them to summon his lost love through jutsus of his own. In the end, they must return back to the land of the dead, but at least this time, they'll be together forever.
Jackson is born and studied ‘American International school’ in Hong Kong.
That’s why he speaks English fluently with American accent as well.
He then went to Korea and to be member of GOT7.

After such a long wait he took to social media to talk about his upcoming new song while sharing mini teasers and finally made his comeback with this new english single “100 Ways” which is the follow up of his 1st album “MIRRORS” that was released back in October 2019. kekeke Wang Jiaer is a real hard worker ;A; He's Chinese, from HK, and he's a fencing champion / olympian. But he quit that [??] and auditioned to be an idol in South Korea. He's friends with RM bc apparently, when they were just starting out, he thought RM was a foreigner like himself [bc RM spoke really Americanized English], and so he thought the both of them foreigners should stick together lol. He's really goofy, but he's lowkey really smart and capable [he learned to speak Korean just so he could change careers xD]. Aside from being an active member of the group GOT7, he just does his own thing whenever he has time, like this MV, with his own team [Team Wang]. Underappreciated king, for sure.

Hi! He is not Korean but Chinese. Though he is a member of a Korean boy group Got 7, this is his solo as an artist in China under his own team (Team Wang). He is having his solo album while being in a KPop group. He is definitely really good.
Jackson came from a sports family (his dad a Olympian fencer, his mum a world champ gymnast his brother a rugby player in Australia) and he began fencing when he was 10 years old. He was preparing for the London Olympics in 2011 and got sponsored a scholarship by Stanford when he gave everything up and went to Korea to pursue his dream of a music career. In 2014 he debutet in the Kpop group "Got7" but as you can see he also has a solo career with his _own label_ going on :)
Oh and btw he's talented af, rapping, singing, dancing, writing and producing music, martial arts, fencing, speaking a lot of languages: Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese), English and Korean fluently but also a bit of Japanese and French. And his character/personality is absolute _gold_ like ngl one of the nicest and funniest Kpop idols out there.

For GOT7, I'd say start with their latest song "You Calling My Name" or "Hard Carry". Jackson does solo music and has his own label called TEAM WANG. He's also been trying to make it in the western market. But he is still very much a part of GOT7. Definitely give them a listen! (Btw he is the one of the rappers of GOT7 but as you can see, can sing beautifully)
