hey there brother, next time if you have the chance while editing. Make sure you properly display information. Yes you need thunderbolt4 cable for this one cable setup for power and display. But you have to check the settings in the monitor and turn on “TYPE C PD CHARGE” that will enable the one cable setup as said in the video. not doing this and plugging in the usb-c to your device will only output the screen and not charge at the same time. just wanna throw that out there! have a great week everyone ❤
Oliur also said that he still has his 6k 32inch monitor that he uses for work. So, still not a monitor he relies on. Which is understandable. But needs to be emphasised rather than excused. It's not a perfect monitor and I'm not running out to get it. The resolution is just too low for me personally. Regarding brightness, anything less than 600nits sdr is a no go for me. 600nits minimum and 230ppi minimum (the more the better and yes I can tell, it completely changes the experience for me). Oled is awesome and so is hdr (real hdr, better be 1500nits+). Refresh rate is the one thing out of all of these that I personally am willing to sacrifice. I want 120hz+ but I will take 60hz. 75hz would be much better. But I'm not willing to sacrifice on anything else. Regarding price, I also don't mind. Make it below £5000 and even if I don't buy it, I'll keep my eye on it and be glad it exists. Basically need an 8k display at 32inch to get 275ppi. For now, I'm happy with the studio display. The 6k 32inch display is awesome but I can't afford to buy that at the moment. Also, 3:2 aspect ratio is golden. Love it.

my reserve on that is the power input required to sustain 1k nits on a >30 inch monitor. Then, of course, you mention 30k but what makes you think an official Apple Display with those specs would be less than 2.5k

No scaling issues. MacOS has a ton of scaling options. It's more sharpness. Nothing will beat perfect scaling which Apple make sure is the case on all of their displays.
Google “bjango scaling” - it’s described in detail there. Mac is only good for 100-120 PPI without scaling and 200-250 PPI at 2x, everything in between leads to issues. The exact reason I can’t pick one myself, there are only a few 6K monitors out there and they’re 60hz, while 1440p doesn’t feel sharp enough.

Got pretty lucky when I purchased it at B&H several weeks ago. When they brought the monitor to my cashier, I looked over the counter and there were 5 of them lined up for pickup. Was out of stock the next day. Super happy with this purchase! It’s everything I’ve been looking for in a monitor these past few months. Thanks dude!

I a year or two ago I was watching a lot of videos on the 42 inch LG C2 OLED and loved the idea. I had one for a week but it was just way too big to use for work. I ended up getting the Alienware OLED 34 inch ultrawide, as I needed something for both gaming and spreadsheets for work. Every now and then though I see some 32 inch monitor videos, it certainly seems to be the sweet spot and i'd love the chance to compare it to my ultrawide.
Does anyone happen to know a monitor that satisfies these requirements minus the OLED? (Would also consider an ultrawide). Using this monitor primarily for work with spreadsheet software, so OLED is a no go for me.
This actually may be the perfect monitor. I currently have a 5K Studio Display that I share with my Macs ... but the KVM in here and the ability to share with a PC is compelling. The lack of speakers and web-cam could be an issue for me. (and I do love having 5K for video edits). I have been trying to buy this monitor for 4 months. It's literally never in stock. Monitors unboxed review was 4 months ago. I finally gave up and decided to try the Dell, but it's slightly curved. Not sure I am going to like that.

I want this monitor, except I want it 5K 120 and QHD 480Hz dual mode. I feel like 4K at 32" is a little too soft for content creation and consumption and 1080p at 32" is a little too soft for gaming, so upping the resolution by 2x on both ends would be killer. And 5K is exactly 4x QHD so the pixel scaling would be perfect. I hope we see this kind of monitor next year with the next generation of this OLED panel tech and Thunderbolt 5.
wow. am considering this monitor for the glossy screen. i am looking for a monitor with high refresh rate and with a high colour accuracy for ps5 and MBpro (i am a graphic designer). wonder how is the colour accuracy for this monitor...
There's a lot of evidence that those monitors burn-in very fast. And we still have the ClearType and text clarity problem. OLED monitores are NOT the answer for definitive monitor. Actually, a expensive and short life product that we need to replace every 2 or 3 years is just too perfect to take all our money. They will push HARD those monitors because they are a very bad deal for the consumer.
How can there be lots of evidence for burn-in for a new display panel? Burn-in is eventually an issue, but modern anti-burn-in tech has gotten a TON better in recent years. How often does a modern OLED phone get burn-in? Exactly.
This is the EXACT monitor I was looking for as a content creator/gamer/macbook and PC user. I bought a LG C2 Oled TV + a thunderbolt HUB and was really happy with it, but watching this video makes me question my life choices. My wallet thanks you

How do OLED monitors fare against the screen burn-in? For example, in long hours of coding where the Windows taskbar (or Mac dock) will be pretty much static.
They're quite similar. The MSI 321 UR, Alienware AW3225QF, ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM and Samsung Odyssey G8 all use the same 3rd Gen QD-OLED panel. Each brand will use their software and hardware design to push it in slightly different directions, but they're all pretty on par with each other.

have you callibrated your monitor?
i have this monitor and i personally find it over saturated
how do you fix this problem?
I have almost the same setup mac monitor and xbox and it works great!
One monitor to rule them all... Like the video's title haha, greetins from Brazil! 🔥
For tv too?
This is the one I have been looking for
A good choice, in my opinion, would be to hire the cables with all due respect.
42 Inch LC C3 for $658 is all I need. I use a glossy monitor, SO uses a matte one.
What do you think of the new Sony Inzone M10S?
Thanks for your always informative videos - can I ask whether if you plug in a Mac laptop via USB-C and run wired speakers out of the monitor itself - will the volume controls on the Mac keyboard work to adjust the volume. I have only ever found one one monitor (and LG) that enables this and it drives me mad!!
Wallpaper?
Would this work with a Mac Studio? usb c delivery wise.
thoughts on the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM?
How easy is it to switch between inputs?
Glossy screen! Finally, about time!!!!
waiting for your Gaming PC build video.
4K wont properly scale in macos right ?
I was also thinking about this. I’d rather get an older 5k monitor.
Mac Mini/Pro + Aftermarket high spec Monitor 🖥️ is a better Choice 👍🏻
❤
now-a-days WCG (including color depth), static aspect ratio (> 1000:1) and higher frame rates (>75Hz) matters. MSI G274QPF E2 27 Inch WQHD, Dell UltraSharp 27 Thunderbolt™ Hub Monitor - U2724DE, GIGABYTE M27Q & Acer's XZ396QU, Nitro XV275U/K P3 27 Inch VA WQHD 384 Zone Mini LED Gaming Monitor, values more than this one, & I would highly recommend them. :)
That iqunix keyboard?! :o
what about burn in? :(
I've been using a glossy Acer monitor since 2014, I refuse to go back to a screen that has matte anti glare coating.. When it broke in 2023 it took me some time to find a new glossy monitor, almost as if they're barely made still. The monitor in this video is way outside of my budget, so I'm glad I found an old second hand Acer monitor from 2013. Hopefully glossy will become more mainstream before this one also dies.
Whats the computer stand
HDMI 2.1?
Nice. But that off centre stand would kill my OCD haha
Great review! You now make it difficult for me I was very close to buy the Asus Rog 32 4k 240 hz but now I have my eyes on this one also. Cheers from Sweden=)
On B&H it's about 1000USD, but when I checked on this monitor on my local website (Shopee Malaysia) it's 2000USD💀

Keyboard cable too short 😩

I was eagerly waiting for this review after I saw the monitor in the house tour video
