Today is August 12 and Father's Day here in Brazil, I can not help comparing him to Geppetto and his child generated from some pieces of wood. Congratulations
I have made the plane! I replaced the brass plate with wooden one with a nut in it. And I made an additional groove in the bed to be able to use two different blades (I use 15 mm and 6 mm wide chisels as blades). And it works! Thank you again for sharing this video!
Thanks for telling me!! That's a good idea, I would like to see your final result!! If you want send me a photo to my email that you can find in the channel information.
Told me all I need to know to recreate, I hope, this neat little router, with the few tools I have. All accompanied by a lovely piece of relaxing music. Think I will watch it again. thanks.
Mik, you don't have to thank me... we do have to thank you very much for sharing with us your habilities.... And... I'm just trying to be fair with you and your art... Cause you deserve it....
There are 743 people who did not like this amazing simple craftsmanship. Why? The world is full and I mean full of idiots! Most of whom stuck behind a computer or working from 9 till 5 in a bank or an insurance company!!!!!
My pleasure! I made the playlist originally when i released my own routerplane projectvid to allow my viewers to easily find other ways of making a routerplane. The list gradually grows, i try to add each routerplane project i find. Its an interesting watch as there are many ways to make one. Yours is quite unique, i like it!
Mikhandmaker I'm sorry that you had to translate my review :) I thought, if it's even written in Chinese here, then it should be in Russian;) but on the topic: a hand drill would be too old school :)) about a hand instrument: I bought myself an electric instrument different in the garage, and now came to the fact that manual is sometimes better: easier to use, less space takes. Although, what do I tell? you know it better than me;) (sorry for the translation)
Don't worry, although for me sometimes is difficult to answer some comments because of the language, I love having these because it means that my videos reach different places around the world!! Thanks!!
I love the idea of using the mirror to keep an eye on the other side of the cut. That's a problem I have always had, to be following the line on my side and have the other side go off track. I look forward to trying that out.
Yet another beautiful, useful project for me to copy. Between your projects an my honey do's, I'm having a difficult time keeping up, even though retired. Keep up the good work and thanks for the video.
Very nice work. Prefer to hear people explain as they go along, however today, I just decided to watch... typically I skip videos that no one speaks. Still job well done.
Thanks Lee. I decided not to speak in my videos because of the language, I'm from Spain, so that by this way I can reach more people. Because of this, I try to make the videos as clear as possible. I'm glad you liked it, thank for your comment!
There are quite a variety of "Old Woman's Tooth" router plane designs, but this one is particularly pleasing, with a nice brass adjustment. I enjoyed your hands-on marking-out and construction methods.
Gorgeous video! A pleasure to see it as well as hear it. Skillful and thoughtful editing made for an entertaining (and highly informative) viewing. Thank you for such outstanding work.
Best video I’ve seen so far on this topic! Thank so much! My next project
You my friend making your tool a piece of art. Thank you for sharing. Watching your workmanship of art inspires one to be better. Bob
Thanks for the comment! I appreciate those words 👍

The best make-it-yourself video on this type of plane that I've seen!
I'm very happy to hear that Max, I appreciate your comment!!
Adding the "illustrations" of technique and potential applications was nice. I learned several lessons.

So relaxing.
Gracias Marco.

So nice. I love the adjustment plate and knob/bolt idea. That is thinking outside the box on that one for sure.
Thank so much Thomas
Fine craftsmanship. Uplifting music. An inspiring video. You have my gratitude!
I appreciate your words, thank for stop and comment!!
