stunning , these dolls voices were sang by women in the factory at a table with a huge horn to sing into or talk so they had to do this loudly for the wax to pick up the voice so thats why she sounds loud or odd , there young ladies were not trained or songstress es of the time but factory girls
The poor sound quality so frustrated Thomas Edison that he disgustedly called them his "little monsters". They were ahead of their time, but technology didn't exist to make them lucrative.
The doll is cute but the way she sounds is a bit unsettling lol, weren't these the first ever talking dolls ever invented back in the day, I remember hearing that somewhere before, I know Thomas Edison created these cuties
