It's not perfect, but it fits PERFECTLY.
While the face is objectively lower quality, and this mod is kinda uncanny relative to other models, it suits this spiderman far better. It's a more mature and weathered face that convincingly conveys the stress being Spider-Man would have endured over a ten year career.
This is exactly what I'm waiting for
This face Model A lot more believable as a teacher and somebody who's ready to retire being in Spider-Man or at least give the mantle up a little bit

I have been waiting....I have refused to play these ever since Bubniaks departure.
Seeing the 2 side by side, I think the main issue with the new model is the eyes. The old face model has more prominent and visible eyes, which makes certain expressions look way better. When there’s pain behind the eyes you see it more in the old model.
While it’s not perfect, still it fits a lot better than the new face, the emotions are actually more expressive and real than the new one, it adds more to his expression, and if you think about it John Bubniak looks like an actual comic book accurate Peter Parker if he was in his 20s, from the hair flipped back, to the slight thick eyebrows, you can definitely see a Peter Parker there, so much more then Ben Jordan

As it should have been. Once again, modders are out doing Insomniac and goving the fans what they really want. Bubniak actually looks like he could teach a class a high-school students. New guy looks like one of the students.

@@JyJyXV Partially the reason. The reason they changed it was to be closer to Yuri Lowethal because it cost way too much money to keep sculpting the game face since Yuri did motion capture too.

The face is a little unpolished (understandbly so because this is still early), but we are getting there. Give it some time and we'll have perfect face.

Am I the only one who prefers the new face models? Both the new Peter model and the new MJ model imo look better than the originals. (Peter's not so much in the first game and miles morales but he looked really good in SM2)

Don't get me wrong, the one we have now fits Peter, just not Peter at the age he is, during the flashbacks the face fits great, but otherwise Bubniak is supreme.
@@_Ohmen_ It's cause they Messed up the new Face model. They softened up his jawline for some odd reason and that makes him look like a child
