Keir Cutler, PhD explains how the Shakespeare Authorship Question is going from a crackpot idea to mainstream thought. Video was filmed at the 2013 Shakespeare Authorship conference in Toronto.

Many people have faith in the religion of the man from Stratford and this encourages them to misinterpret The Works themselves. The vast encyclopedia of knowledge in Shakespeare can't be connected to the Stratford man. So Stratfordians dumb-down the works, pretend all that was needed was a grammar school education, then invent a grammar school education and say you see he had enough education.
When asked to come up with some explanation for the several hundred accurate medical references from untranslated texts of the time. Not only are Stratforidans unlikely to even try, they may simply say these references are irrelevant, or they are not there, or anyone could have come up with them. Why? Because the biography is more important to Stratfordians, than the Works themselves.
And it's not just medical references, there are many domains of learning referenced in the works. Many of them ignored, or falsely portrayed, because they can't be connected to the man from Stratford.
The First Folio says by William Shakespeare, but even the Stratford Birth Place Trust is now saying there were at least five other writers involved in the writing. Officially they now say, "a conservative estimate of collaborators, John Fletcher, Thomas Middleton, Thomas Nashe, George Peele, George Wilkins and possibly others." However, the First Folio does not admit this. If the First Folio lies about the plays being collaborations, why believe the dedicatory poems? Because the man from Stratford is more important to Stratfordians than the Works themselves.
The ultimate question becomes why is the orthodox story of the man from Stratford so important that it trumps everything including the Works?
That is why the Shakespeare Authorship Question is important.
    Doubters care about the Works.
Stratfordians care about the biography. And that's apparently all they care about. Stratforidans are the real anti-Shakespeareans!
"A university's obligation is not to teach students what to think, but to teach students how to think. And that requires listening to the other side, weighing arguments without prejudging them, and determining whether the other side might actually make some fair points. . . . if students graduate with ears and minds closed, the university has failed both the student and society." Former New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, May 2014 at Harvard University.

"If Shakespeare was the writer the title pages proclaim him to be, then there should be evidence of his literary career. He is the only alleged writer of any consequence from the time period who left behind no personal evidence of his career as a professional writer. His biographers must rely instead on posthumous, ambiguous, impersonal and non-literary evidence to make their case."
My goal is to have all schools and colleges give both sides to their students.
