Eh, this sort of thing is very common in the "adoptable community". It's very common for these artists to attach terms to these characters such as "no commercial use" or try to retain some rights to the characters that they are "selling". If you check the fine print, they are almost never selling the full IP rights to the characters. As a result there is always a bunch of drama surrounding these "adopt communities". I think the whole thing is kinda dumb tbh...

I'm sad to see that Vivziepop's Die Young got privated after the release of Helluva Boss S1 Episode 8 as it was one of my favorite Vivziepop videos. As I had no idea who Vivziepop was until around 2021 and I loved how the video had vibrant and beautiful animation to the beat of the song. But even though the video has been put on private at least it will still be alive through our hearts and re-uploads.
Queen Bee's design is based off of an old character in Zoophobia ironically also named "Queen". Queen was Queen of the werewolves and was who personally turned JayJay into a wolf. Her design looks like Kesha.
That video was my first Vivziepop video I watched, I was probably around 9 or 10, I honestly like the video, it’s colourful, and the fluid animation. It’s sad that it was taken down. I honestly love Bee’s design. I think it’s the best design of the series honestly.
Even though I discovered Vivziepop around the time the trailers of Hazbin Hotel were dropped. When I decided to have a look through her channel and found her die young music video. I was amazed with the passion and hardwork she did for that video! Though it's a shame that the video went through a lot of crazy history (which I was never aware of) and eventually it got to the point where we can't see the video anymore without reuploads from others. Ngl, I was hoping that the music video was gonna be re-released again once the legal issues was done or when ep 8 was released. But when I found it was privatized it surprised me. But at the same time, most of the explanations you mentioned did seemed like it was the reason why we can't see it no more. But overall, I think Vivziepop should definitely feel proud of herself for making that video, since it not only kick started her career and even did something for her idol, but also gave us an amazing video to watch over and over again! Also Fun Fact, one of the people who worked on the Die Young Music Video is the creator of Chikn Nuggit! (Kyra Kupetsky)
While I wasn't a super big fan of Kesha's music when it released it was Viv's music video that made me fall in love with some songs. I will always think of this video when I hear it.
Yo, I managed to download the video a few months before it got privated! I felt relieved knowing that more people also managed the same thing. Keep the video alive, friends!
Now that totally sucks. I’ve remembered watching that music video for the first time on TH-cam back when I was ten years old, and it was what introduced me to VivziePop for the very first time in my life. And I still remember it very clearly like as if it happened yesterday. And watching it sometimes brings back so many nostalgic memories.
THAT MEME IS SPOT ON. Honestly that video of "Die Young" got me into Vivziepop all together and that's how I found the pilot episode for Helluva boss and Hazbin Hotel. I was so so SO excited when the newest episode came out, it just hit so hard.
It's clear why because the Kasz Money company did this was out of spite. After the settlement and was notified of Kesha's appearance they decided to take the video down to send a message and knew they could get away with it. Since they owned the copyright it was simple to threaten legal action as an intimidation tactic. A shame though, all this shows is how little control they actually have because they would rather be petty than lose to an indie corporation even when they were at fault for most of the drama leading up to this outcome. But that's corporations for ya.
It's sad to have such work like this just die. Unus Annus was planned, and therefor anticipation of a lot of emotions. But after 8 years, almost a decade, the impact of her work and that video alone changed youtube.
Die Young was *the* furry music video.. I never followed Viv back in the day but I saw her art many times on the internet and I loved her style.. how it was all crazy and colorful..
Very interesting video! I had similar thoughts regarding why the Die Young video was deleted, but it was nice to have this video lay out everything in a concise format! With regards to the section about JayJay being a sparkle-dog adoptable, way back in 2018 I had the opportunity to commission Vivziepop, and I asked her if she could draw JayJay in her Die Young color scheme. She told me that she couldn’t do that “for personal & legal reasons.” In hindsight I can’t help but wonder if that was because of what was going on between Viv & Dollcreep. It was great to see all the references to JayJay in Beelzebub during her music sequence in Helluva Boss. It really takes me back to the Die Young video. (The ending of THIS video really hit the nail on the head!) having said that though, I would still love to see JayJay return at some point! Viv even said a few years ago that she was planning for the return of JayJay, but I think then Hazbin & Helluva really took off, and that drew all her attention.
Kesha did not do the vocals for "Cotton Candy" in Helluva Boss. She did to the speaking voice of Queen Bee, and did write "Cotton Candy", but the song itself was performed by Rochelle Diamante.
I feel like the legal issues are just massive haters trying to bring Vizypop down because despite everything she has been persistent as she can be and just has fun with her work. As an artist it very hard to really make a splash through all the competition and red tape. But interest in her work is there and growing. it’s unique and different maybe something people are craving in this new age. Yea the there’s gonna be critics, haters, but it’s impressive and shocking to see all this unfold on an animator leading this on her own. Thankfully she has support from really cool people in the community offering their talents along the way. I hope all this works out.
I didn't even know it was privated. I last watched it at 12 in the morning before episode 8 premiered drawing. (I had it in a playlist) I may have been the last person to watch it lol. Still nonetheless I'm glad it's been archived but kinda sad the original will never be seen again
I want to say it's a combination of shame of Viv hating her own art, like she hated her helluva boss pilot, and Hazbin pilot.. It might also have to do with Kesha's contract with the studio..
I can understand why she'd feel that way. Atleast for me and some of my friends, we end up disliking our older videos after a couple months. I think it's just to do with self-improvement. It's good and bad. It's good because it means you've improved what you create, but its bad because you can't watch your older creations in the same way and enjoy them. Atleast they're enjoyable for the viewers though thats one of the most important things imo.
@shinghidorah1794 I don't think she hated it. It's just that she never used her old art style anymore. You can notice the quality between the GIF scenes and pilot. HH animation is the remnants of her old style back in 2010s. I don't remember she hated the HB pilot though
Episode 8 gave off so much vibes of the animation with queen bee. Jay Jay was such a badass character and I was upset when I found out the vid was unlisted…

Honestly, kind of sucks that the video is private now I’ve watched that video when I was in middle school multiple times and I never gotten tired of it and Eden inspired me to keep drawing art(because my dryer isn’t middle school weren’t really good but I wanted to keep on trying so I can make animations like that)
It’s amazing how quality changed since those days. I wish it wasn’t privated, but I figured it was related to copyright. I actually delved into the video because it kept popping up all the time on the side of videos next to the one I was watching. It was weird that the person who made JayJay wanted changes on the character because I’m so used to people making adopts and not wanting much changes to it. I’m glad you pointed out that Cotton Candy was sung by someone else because just because it’s written by someone doesn’t mean they sang it.
i actually discovered vivziepop when i was listening music in yt randomly while gamming. i realised the song sequence of die young diddnt add up and next thing i realised was this furry animation. animation was good enough for me to sub it
That video was what inspired me to join the furry fandom and what inspired me to actually get serious about pursuing art as my passion. So disheartened to know the original was privated. It's odd to say but it's been a big part of my personal journey.
Okay, so, I know this is slightly off topic, but I need to understand something here: When you make adoptables for someone to purchase, does that mean that, when that character is purchased, you agree with the unwritten ToS that the character is no longer yours? Cause if that's so, technically Viv didn't have to credit DollCreep, but did it anyway despite the falling out cause she was being nice about it. Man, and I thought the hate for Viv couldn't get more confusing-
From memory they had some sort of written document/agreement with eachother. The two had falling out prior to the release of the video, however viv still decided to give them a "special thanks" credit in the video. Dollcreep tried to start a shitstorm after and atleast to me it seems like they were trying to social climb/clout chase. They were credited in the video so i don't really see what the issue is. There was apparantely another issue where viv copied designs from dollcreep that she didn't buy, however that has nothing to do with jayjay and the die young video. According to viv as well dollcreep apparantely plagiarised the design from another artist. A viewer of mine contacted dollcreep like a year ago to ask about how they draw characters and dollcreep said they've moved on and can't remember much from back then.
@@ayylmaotv So, if I'm hearing this correctly, Viv has dealt with, yet, another person who has tried to frame her even when she bent over backwards for them? I know it's not a lot to go by, but if DC did plagiarize, then Jesus-
It was so weird cause I was actually looking for it to send it to a friend cause they wanted to see it as they didn't see it. So when I couldn't find it I was confused. Luckly there was reuploads but its weird considering how important to Vivziepops work and career
I saw the die young video when I was 11. I actually had no idea it was by vivziepop. I loved the video and I listened to it off and on for about a year then I forgot about it. It's a shame hearing what the video went through.
I’m glad other people copied and uploaded her video. It stinks when videos you like get taken down or privated because of stupid reasons. That was a good video and it shouldn’t have gotten such backlash. It’s like “what? I’m not aloud to enjoy the video cause some assholes have a problem with it?! People need to grow the fuck up.”
I'm among those thousands of views on the WIPs of the Die Young video. The final part with the balcony was not shown in the WIPs so I remember my excitement when I finally got to see the end of it on the full release. Jay Jay was so awesome too, a great idea for a werewolf who changed her fur color based on how she dyed her hair. I loved the zoophobia comic all those years ago, I think it was a decade ago now since I was watching it in my first apt. I don't think Viv is going to escape the way people talk about her Kesha song design choices of sparkle dog oc. I love it, I always loved it. Viv is just cursed when it comes to really embracing her passion for her most favorite things to animate in the world: hell and rainbow furries. The OGs are still here for ya girl keep the sparkle strong and embrace that glittery energy.
Considerng kesha was in her newest video, and we may miss Die young. I think this is probably a good thing. Die young was also my introduction to Vivzie, so i understand why vivzie made these choices
I feel bad for her bc she put her heart into that fan animation & now it felt like it has gone to waste. Im sure her spindlehorse company was very low on money at that time when she released that animation so she did not expect her future self to have the power & money to hire FAMOUS VA’s & actors. I subbed to her ever since Hazbin hotel’s trailer first came out. She slowly grew out of her furry self bc of the hate when the fame from the growing Helluva Boss series got her unique on the internet. The QUEEN BEE ep brought her entire furry spirit back (Loona just holds like 10%) & Beelzebub’s design was inspired from JAYJAY (the blue wolf in the die young animation) Vivzie knew well she’s going to get that same hate again but SHE DON’T CARE :D
Vivsipop was a cornerstone when it came to my artisitc development. I watched that die young video ENDLESSLY, taking in how she drew her backgrounds, her inbetweens, the Camra movement, EVERYTHING. Lil 13 y/o me aspired to be able to do something like that
No because it's literally the first ever video I've seen of hers, this is sad an unfortunate but I'm glad people are still keeping it alive through reuploading

I didn't see the video until 2021, which eventually led to me to start watching Vivziepop's other works like Helluva Boss. It always made me feel good whenever I saw it, and I find it a real shame it was set to private. Fortunately, I bookmarked the video on my browser so I was still able to see it when it was set as unlisted. Additionally, the Cotton Candy song kind of gives similar emotions that the Die Young video did, so at least there's that.

Gonna be honest, for people on the internet that video is more historic than any of Ke$ha's albums. Sucks that Viv had to private it thanks to some dumb rich people bs. I haven't been interested in Viv's work since circa 2014 Zoophobia, but the Die Young video is the one thing of hers I always came back to every so often.
I’m curious about the songs from helluva boss. I mean we have addict as a song people can purchase from vivzie but then you have ones like Cotton Candy (understandable if legal reasons involved) Vacay to bonetown, house of asmodious, etc. great songs I’m just surprised there’s not an album or official releases

It was the video that introduced me to vivzipop and I've been a fan since.
i actually discovered vivziepop when i was listening music in yt randomly while gamming. i realised the song sequence of die young diddnt add up and next thing i realised was this furry animation. animation was good enough for me to sub it
That video was what inspired me to join the furry fandom and what inspired me to actually get serious about pursuing art as my passion. So disheartened to know the original was privated. It's odd to say but it's been a big part of my personal journey.
Do you think the original/main die young animation video will ever be public or unlisted again?
I’m glad there are people who could re upload it. I remember watching it as a kid tbh.
I remember watching the video back when I was in college. I was really impressed with the design and how it captured the energy of the song itself.
In my headcanon, I like to imagine that Bee-lzebub actually sung Die Young during at least one of her parties that we'll never see in the franchise
I actually found Vivziepop channel and Die young song in my recommended when watching the Mystery Skulls Ghost music video.
Love your channel.
Lil 13 y/o me aspired to be able to do something like that
8:54 Best moment!
And this is why I HATE TH-cam copyright!!! >:(
No because it's literally the first ever video I've seen of hers, this is sad an unfortunate but I'm glad people are still keeping it alive through reuploading
I’m just glad things were finally settled and we were able to enjoy episode 8. I love this show!
oh wow the ending theme got me outta no were :( I love the halo 2 or 3 theme of never forget
This is why I save hard copies of things that are worth saving.
I have it on a DVD with tons of other solo artist and small studio Animated music videos.
I literally tried looking this up the other day to show my friend and it vanished.. that explains a lot!!
The die young animation from vivziepop reminds me of my teenage emo days
And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one
I didn't see the video until 2021, which eventually led to me to start watching Vivziepop's other works like Helluva Boss. It always made me feel good whenever I saw it, and I find it a real shame it was set to private. Fortunately, I bookmarked the video on my browser so I was still able to see it when it was set as unlisted. Additionally, the Cotton Candy song kind of gives similar emotions that the Die Young video did, so at least there's that.
MAN SAME I REMBER WATCHING THAT BEFORE VIZIZPOP DID HELLABOZZ/HASTPEN HOTEL BEST VIDOE EVER I WATCH WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND ALSO WACHTING HER FIRST VIDEO IN HER ACCOUNT
We really should’ve made the most of the night before it died young
It was my childhood bro😭
Love the meme at the end :D
Vivziepop die young video is one of my favorites its actually the first video ive ever saw from her channel
Aw man that video ment a lot to all of us viv fans, it's sad that's its gone from her channel. Not only that but it's sad she had to go through all of this :/
I love this music video so much! The animation is awesome. I’m a furry artist and hope to one day be an animator. Viv and this music video inspired me to come back to art. ❤️
Tbh I thought Viv was watching her old animation of Die Young
Ah a Marty O'Donnell classic right here 8:28
Gonna be honest, for people on the internet that video is more historic than any of Ke$ha's albums. Sucks that Viv had to private it thanks to some dumb rich people bs. I haven't been interested in Viv's work since circa 2014 Zoophobia, but the Die Young video is the one thing of hers I always came back to every so often.
2:14 I was wondering who the little pink fluffball was!!!!!!
Aww yes I remember die young! It was the first video I’ve seen of hers! I was really sad when she deleted it, but now I know why:)
everything on youtube will be reupload when it is deleted
Was a fan of Vivzie since Die Ypung first came out :)
NOOO!!! I really love that song!
You can still listen to it
"You can't have this online!"
Internet: "Can't I?"
The first Vivziepop video I ever watched was in fact Die Young. I was hooked, i'm just so glad it's been reuploaded though.
I’ll miss this video…
This video was literally my entire childhood it will always live rent free in my head 😔
It's still there It's just not there when you search it up
gonna miss it :( but i love how Honey Bee song is
Oh no :( it was my first vizepop video
I don't know her name but that one overlord from hazbin hotel remind me of jay jay :0
Missi Zilla?
@@Soleriaraptor1103 yea her
@@Kingfurby my Hazbin Hotel oc is kinda a mix between JayJay and Zeezi
Wait i remember watching the WIP and BTS! I have no idea it's lost media! The last time i saw those videos was around early 2017. Unless it's a mandela effect? I just know i've seen the animatic before
It feels illegal to be this early
Also i feel like it may come back because of Kesha's role in Episode 8
Im glad i saw it before it was privated !
Question, now that die young is private, do you think it's possible that viv will animate the"C'mon" JayJay returns video to take it's place?
I am still watching the original on YT. It's what I watched before coming here.
I was 10 years old when I first saw her die young video! I feel so old now, but I’m sad it’s on private now…
That video is the reason I found her in the first place. It also inspired me to make art more so its a shame that she had to private it. At least there is reuploads.
What sucks is that we won't see the high view counts it deserves.
