There really isn't much variation in them to be honest. I dont know why nobody is making a proper wallet style case thats as strong as those UAG ones. I'm more than happy to open a case up to unlock it...I bought an otterbox for my S8 and although it is strong the front wasn't protected whatsoever. Whats the point of them? The screen is the MAIN thing that needs protection, not the back..

That's ok. Some videos have shit reviews for most cases - except for the ones they're shilling.
The holster clip with the case at 3:53 is meant to clip on the front of the phone giving you full 360° protection for the phone including the front screen. I have a similar case to this. it's useful if you work in construction etc. and does give your phone great protection all over.

I’ve been using the Otterbox Defender series case throughout the years for the Galaxy series and I can say as an angered married woman who sometimes chugs these phones at a wall or the ground...they really hold up and keep the phones safe more than any other cases I’ve tried.

My husband and I have enough money to throw around. We do this whenever we are angry. I have 2 brand new S22 Ultra's on standby lolz but the main thing here is Otterbox has really gone downhill over the years.

Charnt Sabre Get the OtterBox commuter case it’s actually really protective and a good looking case. I just put a pop socket on it and I have a kick stand and something to help hold the phone onto.

Most Samsung s10+ and s10's come with a screen protector on it.
It's the damn curved screen that makes everything complicated.
I think this is why they won't include it any longer.

Im using the samsung.. its only been a month and i already cracked my screen..... That is not proof its a bad case, but no matter the case a screen protector is a good idea
Not that good of a review. Both OtterBox and Urban armor gear make more protective cases than the ones you reviewed, and the Samsung case offers lousy protection.
The UAG pathfinder is the best case I ever had. I've dropped my phone with that case and never was I ever concerned it did any damage. If you decided with the s10 vs. The s20 get the UAG Pathfinder. Yes the monarch would provide more protection but more along the lines of very high drops, in terms of height. I'm 5'11" and my phone hVe survived face down drops and direct corner drops. (corner drops are what usually breaks the phone due to the all the weight in the phone coming down on a corner. I did however end up breaking my phone with this case, but only because I took my dome glass off and it landed face down and in the center of the screen on a sharp heavy rock.
I've had an Otterbox Defender on my S8+ from August 11th 2017, it's never been out of the case and is in pristine condition. Only today has the case "failed" and that's on the headphone jack cover falling off. My only gripe with the Defender is the bumper doesn't fit snugly around the phone anymore and it gapes in the bottom and top around the edges. I can't say I've ever used the holder either, it's impracticable for me and I'd have much rather they spent some more time perfecting the case, somewhere to thread a lanyard would have been amazing, the last concern I want to have is dropping my phone off the edge of a building or into a river.
Step back from the edge of the building, its not worth it.

UAG for the win I have always had UAG cases on all my phone and never had a problem or cracked screen. I will always go with UAG as my first pick no matter what.
Yea I wanted to get an UAG as well, the crimson monarch one but it's first of all, 50 euro's which is really expensive and second of all, it does not protect the front, if it falls it can easily crack the screen so i'm probably going to get a normal boring flip case even though I really like the monarch crimson one and the design. I know its sturdier on the corners and the back than the flip cases but I cant afford to break the screen of my phone cause of the curved edges.
@@Atoximed you are right. I have that case but I dropped my s10 and it fell on the floor and the screen broke.
Shame about the no screen protection, I have the otterbox and the "screen protector" that came with the phone scratches so easily. Additionally, the AT&T manager told me they won't cover the phone if dropped the "screen protector" won't protect it, in a disclaimer-like statement. I suggest a glass protector add-on if your case doesn't cover the screen.
How about putting the phone in the holster clip the correct way face in and if pretty protected your phone the Samsung case would win hands down
I wish you would've include the cost of each cover; because you basically said ALL 5 are equally good. I've always used Otterbox since I'm rough with my phone - especially on the woods. Also is any one cover better than the other for waterproofing and breathability. Which ones has a variety of designs? *sigh* Thank you for your video.
Only ever dropped my phone once with an otter box case. No cracks or dents on the screen.
Phone screen just straight up died. The screen would not turn on while everything else worked.
R.I.P. note 2. Not worth getting the extra bulky case. (Mine had the otterbox screen cover plastic thing that's part of the case)
I had a uag case and it sucked. The rubber part started to separate from the plastic. I now have the otterbox symmetry and love it for me s9+
yes! finally i have found another one that hates uag due to that problem, the rubber crumbles and its very dissappointing paying that premium case!
I have the same problem.. On the back side of case, the screws are falling out, lost 2. Not good for price.
I've had 5 of them and only the last one for s7 had these issues where rubber and clear plastic separated but only when u took it off the phone it all snaps back together and goes back on. The one I have for s10 is one piece and will never have issues I'd say
Mous limitless 2.0 is the best, looks wise and protection in my opinion, plus it works with the white stone glass screen protector.
Spigen tough armor is also very good

I dont recommend the samsung official case, it is tough, but not as tough as the others, my s10 plus broke from a fall, and I would not recommend it

2:03 Don't fall for these sort of cases guys ! If you are a heavy phone dropper, the S10 has no chance. One unlucky drop of the front and the screen is shattered. the edges make it more vulnerable to regular drops than other phones as well.

UAG has been the best for me. Just ordered pathfinder online and can't wait to have it next week! Spigen comes second. 👌😁

They have a glass that fits the case. But its expensive and the fingerprint scanner doesn't work.

I look for the s10 plus cover of which all four edges protrude above the screen surface with the protective glass on it, not only top and bottom ones. Does any of those presented in this video have this feature, please? Or maybe you know of some other type elsewhere...? Thank you.
why is no one mentioning about SPIGEN case ? that is also one of the best case you can get
None of them protect the screen and a protective glass cracks every then and now because the side of the case are to high and won work with The round edges. tried 3 of these cases, they are tough so tough I need one glass per month
The Samsung case towards the end of the video is very susceptible to damage as I have found out. My phone fell from about waste high and the screen was cracked on all 4 corners, Not sure whether Samsung will cover the damage with a warranty?

I personally got otterbox case and I love it it protects the phone really well and I like that I can just clip the phone to my pants because it can't fit in my pocket.the only problem that some people might hate about this case is that you can't wirelessly charge your phone with the case on or use or use wireless power share and the case is big and heavy.i personally don't mind these things but my family members didn't like the case for those two reasons.

U know the uag monarch case for s10 plus does the edges of the phone screen still exposed in the monarch case
There's no raised side lip protection for the screen. Because of this fault, its only a matter of time before the screen cracks due to the gimmick curved screen. The curved screens cost far more to repair.

The new lifeproof fre case covers it but the fingerprint sensor stickers are really hard to install and it has a weird thing on the top of the screen protector but overall i love my lifeproof

Not enough commentary on how much each case protects the front screen. Thats where most of the damage occurs.
IE, how much is the outer ridge offset from the face of the phone.
That was really the thing I wanted to know most and it's what you gave the least info about.

With Otterbox case can I still use it if I have screen protector on my phone
Does not lift the og screen protector from factory, dont know if that works with a replaced one as well. Usually I cut them a little to fit the defender since the S8. Highly prefer, other otterboxes have become super thin and the screenlayer was always crap.

For otto u need the slim version of defender. Uag monarch is best i use it on mine.

OtterBox cases cost $ 60, while all the others are from 10 to 30, why is there not a word about it in the video? It's not that I feel sorry for 60 bucks to protect a smartphone for 1500, but, in my opinion, a person should be informed about such things. Also about the first case: I'm not sure how OtterBox is doing, but normal holster clip cases are able to rotate 360°, so it becomes possible to put a smartphone on any side of it, as it will be convenient for you. And, usually, he dresses on the screen, so as to cover it.
And all covers of this kind are put on by hand, unless, of course, you are not going to break it right away. So that you don't have to worry about how well it protects your smartphone. The only exceptions are those cases when the installation of covers involves unscrewing/tightening screws (hint: screws and a screwdriver will be included!).

the problem with all these case is that, would my wireless charger pad work without having to take it off? for now, i just used the included case and screen protector for my phone. Note* just watch the last part. seem like you can charge with the case on. :p
I don't know about the others but I have otterbox case and it doesn't charge wirelessly unless case it off,same with wireless powershares.
I personally like my case because I don't use those features to begin with.

blackheart88 screen is curved. Protecting it through case is like putting opaque case on screen.

@@ericamacmillan320 I suggest going for a flip phone like the Otterbox strada, cause the UAG does indeed look good, it has better back and corner protections probably as well but its wayy more expensive and does not protect the front at all, if it drops flat on a rock or anything that isnt perfectly flat (like a pavement or just a road) it will break the curved screen easily. Im also looking for a case btw I just got the s10 plus so yea

This is definitely a phone that you will want a screen protection option which NONE OF THESE HAVE.
The S10, usually comes with a screen protector on it when you get it, thus there is no need to buy one.

I haven't noticed anyone mention a case I bought and would highly recommend. It's called X-Doria Defense Shield Series
After a couple times of hitting say the power button it became perfect ( which I was a little worried about but it was probably just bc it was brand new. Love the fact it covers all corners and a nice depth on the back so we don't scratch any part's of the camera's. 10 FT drop protection 👍 Best part is it doesn't make the case bulky and just overwhelming uncomfortable to hold. @@vashsant it's no were close to as bulky as say the Otterbox Defender. In my opinion it makes the s10+ a little more bulkier but safe in my hands. But everyone has their own feels and likes towards how they like to protect their phone's. My next step STILL is considering putting on a reliable glass protection.
the screen on my note 10+ broke from a 1.6 meter fall using the otterbox the otterbox sucks and expansive i will not be buying otterbox again
