So nice to see Papa Shu back! I visited haidilao in Piccadilly in a group of 10 and we paid about £30 each so very similar to your price. We didn't need to wait because you can reserve a table in advance- have to ring them several weeks in advance though! The customer service is a lot better than other restaurants so it's worth the higher price. I remember when I went in China, they even had staff serving hand towels after you washed your hands in the restroom and offering posh perfume to spray on yourself!
Hope you had a great time when you went! I love that they offer perfume and hand towels too hahaha. I always end up craving hot pot randomly so never as organised as booking in advance 😂

One good point out of pandemic is that right (literally days) before first lockdown we went there and we didn't queue basically at all. People were to scared to go outside so we could try this without the wait ;) I loved this, but I'm not big into queueing...

I have been meaning to visit a hot pot place. The only things is do they cater to veggie only people? I cant eat noodles as well. It looks amazing too. You should do a start guide to eating at a hot pot place

Pandalicious pandatastic eatery. I do like a good hotpot. Yum Seems a little spicier than a Japanese hotpot but nowhere near the spiciness of a Thai hotpot. I'm eager to try a Chinese hotpot by and by 🐼🐼💖🍲
