- We have just returned from Bali (November 2023) after staying at Gazebo Beach Hotel. This video presents our experience whilst staying here. The hotel is popular with elderly Australian tourists but it may not suit everyone. I take you on a journey through the hotel & surrounding area & provide a candid view of of our experience.
long time no see brother from the imperial county California 👍👍🇺🇲
Francisco my man. Great to hear from you. I think Bali must be as hot as Imperial County California!! 😎😡
Great to see you post another video, Doug. I was looking forward to seeing what Karen was up to, LOL. Enjoy your holiday.
Thank you Kevin. Karen can come when next I drive north! She doesn't speak Bahasa Indonesian anyway! Hahaha!
Stayed there in February 2024. As you've indicated, it was pretty run-down. 3/5 only because of location. Stayed in the cheap rooms, moldy smell from a/c. Cheap enough but wouldn't return.
Hey Doug, do prices become cheaper the longer you stay, said for 12 months?
I guess you would need to negotiate that with the managers. From what I can gather the owner is an Australian who does not wish to spend any money on it, so maybe you could strike a bargain? I know that a lot of Aussies do go to Bali to live but I think the Indonesians are having second thoughts about foreigners invading the place.
Thanks Doug for your reply, I guess it also applies to any other accommodation throughout Bali just have to ask.

Hey we didn't get to see you drink coffee?
No I drank beer cause it was too hot! Hahaha!
What a shame about the hotel, it could be such a beautiful hotel.
Yes if the owner would spend some money on it but wont, apparently. Also owns the old Artotel next door.
@@dougrorison1211I don’t think the awful Artotel disco is the same owner. No.
Tremmor and shaking bro...try use gimbal.
