It may seem unnecessary. But having this specific mystic menu further increases the player's immersion in the D-6 universe. If you played that Serious Sam TFE famous creepy mod, ou would see that its menu is almost looking like that. Furthermore, about my TC story, Netricsa is kind of "hacked" by the evil undiscovered force from the lost Sirian temple in which you start the level. Menu is somehow a part of Netricsa too, as for consequence, the fact that the menu is also "hacked".And finally, it was fun to do that. I learnt some new things about con-script by doing this. Another thing, I wanted to keep the evolutive map loading screen, as Croteam did for Serious Sam TFE, but with another picture (the book) as they did for Serious Sam TSE. So, the book is for the Intro cutscenes and the evolutive map for the real game-play.
