Their goal to the eventually move to all their own distillate, but for now they're both sourcing and distilling (they have a bottled-in-bond offering that is all them). I met the guys from the distillery and learned that a majority of their malt is roasted pretty heavy which is probably why you get so much caramelization on the palate.
