OMG, I cut off the side of my index finger too! It still hurts 3 years later and doesn’t have normal sensation. I bought some steel mesh gloves to try and prevent a recurrence. I had to go to the ER, but there was nothing to stitch together, so they just put stuff to stop the bleeding and lots of gauze. I’m so sorry for you too.
Oh man that’s no good! I had to have stitches and that was no fun either. Thankfully the more I’ve used it the better the feeling comes back. But that was 7 years ago so it’s taken time to heal!
hello love your very beautiful videos please kindly film how to thread the juki sewing how to wind the bobbin and how to operate the industrial sewing machine foot pedal how its used to sew please OK?please kindly reply back OK?thank you very much
I have a question. When you sew the bias tape to the bodice, are you sewing it on the right or wrong side of the bodice? It appears to be the right side but then the bodice front will have a line of stitching across the top, correct? I hope this is not an ignorant question!
Good question! I’m seeing the bias tape to the outside of the bodice and flipping it to the inside. The bias tape is hand stitched to the lining only, not the outer shell. That is why I add a layer of lining to my dresses. 🙂
I love your videos because they are specific and detailed, and provide the tips and tricks to perfect those finishing touches!
Thanks so much! So glad you’re enjoying my videos 🙂
Very informative.. It's the understitching that gives me problems.
This helps me so much!!!!!
So glad!!!
