Kant-slam gate closer installation

I am installing a Kant-slam gate closer.
The tools required are:
13mm wrench.
11mm socket.
Drill.
1/8in drill bit.
3/16in drill bit.
Flat head screw driver.

I just installed this closer, it works better than anything the Box hardware stores offered. You can adjust the speed of the closing of the door.

@@curtiswehner6292 I recently had the strut snap on me. I hardly use the gate so I was a bit concerned. But I have one on a gate I use every day for 2 years and it still holds strong.

Does it work for out-swing gates with the closer on the inside of the yard?

According to the manufacturer instructions, the 3/4” mark goes on the other end of the arm sleeve.

Agree...seems like the manufacturers directions would make it more sturdy and provide more support to the long bracket
