A swan song is one last song before the death/end of something. This song in itself is the swan song for the human race & the earth; 'for murdering old mother (mother nature) we'll dance on the moon' and 'on the shoulders of man and his bag full of bombs, bell tolling destruction our final swan song'.
U should check out their cover of Praise You by Fatboy Slim! It's one of my favorite covers they do next to What kind of woman is this!! U will love everything they do!!
Song written by Gorran in 2016. When he was first buskung by himself, he was kniw as the bob dylan guy. He is traveling, and bysking in Spain right now. He us the youngest if them, just turned 29. The Big push is a treasure chest of variety. Romain wrote Dignity with Ten adding the chorus. Another good one.
I love everyone's expression the first time they see Ren playing the Melodica. It's a cross between confusion, amusement and respect. Probably because we all played something like it as a kid and it sounded like a dying cat. It's a bit of a shock to realize it can actually sound good.
If you want to see even more unusual Ren, then his uni band Trick the Fox is a good way to compare the artist he was back when Sony were interested in him before he got sick, with the artist that his struggles made him. th-cam.com/video/p8MuNCCzH2o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=N9eo-9xcc-LVbN9n
The Big Push was Ren's last band. Before that he sang/played with Trick The Fox. The other two have their own rabbit holes to dive into: Gorran Kendall (in the middle) and Romain Axisa (to the right) have great songs on their channels as well. Gorran is currently busking in Malagá.
Not sure if you read the comments but.....check out "The Big Push " live at the Brighton Dome Sept 9th, 2022 ! The video is on The Big Push's page ! It was their last concert before Ren had to leave for more medical treatments in Canada. It is the full concert, about 1hr and 40 mins ! It was amazing !
The Big Push are so awesome. Bongo Bong , and Praise You are another two beauties! But there are many others really worth watching. Romain and Gorran are also amazing as solo perfoprmers
During the global "shutdown" the 3 of them were flat-mates. "Live Nation" did 3 or 4 live strems of The Big Push. Was great! Check those out also. It is a song mourning the death of Mother Earth.
Pursuing their own respectful individual music careers that well represent their own styles. I absolutely love each of these guys just depending on what you’re vibing. You mentioned the folk in this piece…that would be Gorran’s influence. IMO he is our modern day Dylan check him out “If” is my favorite! Romain has a baritone voice combined with his guitar skills can rip through one soul…”time after time” is a fine example! Thank you for acknowledging each of these guys! Anyone who has the privilege of performing with Ren is worthy of respect👍🏻
You need to watch their version of Englishman in New York (live). In that you will see Sting's influence on Ren - and also in Ren's latest video released last Thursday (Back on 74 - Message in a Bottle Retake). There are some really good busking sessions of The Big Push out there. Ren cut his teeth busking, along with being born with a guitar in his hands..
think this is my favourite big push song! the 'air piano' makes me laugh every time tho, and in my head i would love to believe ren was just walking around a charity shop and spotted it and thought it would be fun to try!! Works so well in this track i think! great reaction as always dude
Not only shoukd jump down the Big Push rabbit hole, but check out Romain and Gorran's solo work. I really hope we get a TBP reunion in the future, but theyre all great on thrir own too.
You should check out Icarus by The Big Push but make sure to watch the video with the "behind the scenes" video at the end. The song itself is great and the "behind the scenes" video is hilarious. I really like The Big Push and hopefully they'll be making an album soon. Gorran and Romain have been pushing their music recently and a reunion show in Brighton would be amazing. There are random videos of them playing concerts on TH-cam as well. Hopefully they didn't have a falling out. I think Glen the drummer is now in Australia. One can dream.
What do you see with the eyes in your head? Pitiful struggle, or are you content? Fear and anger so garishly clothed, resignation and ignorance tied up in bows A king to a pauper, a sad wizened clown A joke an' a punchline, people all 'round Rose-tinted glasses and no-one is sane A big waltzing blindfold, we are what we play We are what we play, and nothing is sane What can he hear with his ears in his hands? Her silently weeping, his head in the sand Patiently lurking in water in wine, he'll drown by her tears, or choke on his time For what we've forsaken and taken too soon Before murdering old mother, we'd dance on the moon Deaf to the thunder that silently cracks, we're holding our breath until her collapse What do you feel with your heart in your chest? Some few thousand years, could soon come to rest Do you feel the butcher? The bullet that bores With corkscrewing chaos and mighty a roar What do you feel with your heart in your chest? Some few thousand years could soon come to rest On the shoulders of man and his bag full of bombs Bell tolling destruction our final swan song.
This one is Gorran's, he actually wrote it before he joined TBP, but together they made magic...

Three of them are so different, and their music so different, but they bled in together so perfectly. You will enjoy, and I can hardly wait!
U should check out their cover of Praise You by Fatboy Slim! It's one of my favorite covers they do next to What kind of woman is this!! U will love everything they do!!
Absolutely!
I love love love this song. Gorran wrote this one and it was their first music video together.
The instrument Ren is playing is a Melodica 🖤
That instrument is called a melodica. Don't know if I spelled it right.
It is definitely a different side of Ren.
Get yourself some Big Push BONGO BONG 🤣👍🎵🎶🍯🤌🐝🍀

What a day you are having - more Big Push!!😁👍❤️

Just beautiful… ♥️🫶🏻♥️
He can get down on that melodica. 😊
I love this song. Gorran showed his ability to write and the rest of The Big Push made it an amazing song with harmonizing.

Thanks very much. Will absolutely do this ☺️

Yess, I agree with Beirut similarities! They made great covers, but their own stuff like this song is well worth to check out - you will enjoy!

Love this song! There are so many great songs by The Big Push. The instrument Ren was playing is a melodica 💜💜
I love this song. They harmonize perfectly ❤
Ren with the melódica....amazing!!❤❤

Great reaction. Ren had another bank by the name Trick The Fox. That’s around the time we was with Sony
Amazing Gorran's song!!❤
My favorite of TBP beautifully done.
This was the first music video TBP did together.❤

The lyrics are fantastic on this. You should treat yourself and read them. I think it'd be worth your time.
Great reaction. Thank you.
❤
I love Ren a little more every day. No fear at all. Love The Big Push here too!
Yup, Ren does it all --- including the melodica!
Glad this took you somewhere different. I love this one.💕👍🦇

If you like the folky vibe, you would probably like Gorran Kendall's solo music too.
And then Ren just pulls out a melodica . . . as one does.🙂
I would like if my descendants danced on other planets but not being from billionaires, I doubt it. Cheers for the reaction.
👌
CSN vibe to me
react more peter buka plsss
To me it gives some Jim Croce vibes...
That instrument is called a melodica. Don't know if I spelled it right.
