I have done this module with Pcmflash without opening it through K-line.. I also have the Kess 3

I dont mind opening but may have to get something else cause kess3 hasnt been that good on Hyundai stuff for me tbh. I have one sim2k it bricked recently and another I read through data but cant write and can not connect in boot to read or write. Alientech support offers no help and just requests more details despite sending them a slew of information about it already.

@@ecurepair thanks for the feedback.... I heard that from one of my friends... Pcmflash worked great... No problems the only thing is that it blocks access to the program while connected to my house internet... It must be on a mobile hotspot...

I'm doing this right now. $2800 for a new ECU, and KIA doesn't know if and when they can get one.... I will never buy a Kia again.
