    You know, them 91s in that modified intercity executive livery, I wasn't sure of it at first but then I saw it up close and now, seeing it at speed, it does look to be the part and does look to be the business
    But those Zum-Zums on diesel power, good lord do they sound mighty

      Like how they used to be. The ironic 225 sets are defiantly the business of the East Coast Mainline. Those Azuma's departing on diesel power do sound epic especially for those cold starting those engines.

    Why do we have Azumas on diesel?

    • @RickyNowis
      @RickyNowis  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is so that they are able to run on non electrified lines. Such as: Harrogate, Lincoln, Aberdeen, Inverness and also for diverts :-)

      @manomaylr ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RickyNowis I know that but Newark is electrified so why is an Azuma running on diesel here??

    • @RickyNowis
      @RickyNowis  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@manomaylr To join the main line to Lincoln. The line between Newark and Lincoln isn't electrified.

      Oh dear A Clark, I'm doing my very best to cover as many areas as I can. If you have a station request then I'll put it on my to do list if you like :-)

      @@RickyNowis I'm more a lover of train travel than a guy who loves standing on platforms, but surely #BirminghamNewStreet, #LiverpoolLimeStreet, #ManchesterPiccadilly, #Brighton, & #BristolTemplemeads all have lots to see. Or #LondonVictoria..
