This year's ramadan I am in Singapore!
The Kampong Glam precinct is bringing back the annual Kampong Glam Ramadan bazaar and entertainment programmes with Raikan Cahaya Ramadan from 15 March to 16 April 2023. This year’s festivities features a variety of booths along with light projections and a charity drive.
Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar is an annual event held during the month of Ramadan in Kampong Gelam, a historic district in Singapore. The bazaar features a wide range of food and beverage stalls offering traditional Malay and Middle Eastern cuisine, as well as clothing, accessories, and other Ramadan-related products.
Visitors can sample popular dishes such as beef rendang, nasi lemak, and kebabs, and indulge in sweet treats like dates, kuih tart, and kueh lapis. There are also various activities and entertainment, including live performances, games, and cultural displays.
The bazaar is usually held in the evenings, and it is a popular destination for Muslims and non-Muslims alike, who come to experience the festive atmosphere and enjoy the delicious food. It is a great opportunity for people to learn more about Ramadan and the Muslim culture, and to celebrate the diversity of Singapore's multicultural society.
With 700 plus stalls, Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar 2023 is the biggest ever. This Bazaar opens on the same day as the Geylang Serai Light-Up. Free Open-Top bus tours was offered for the 1st time. Join me for a walk through this year's Bazaar which spans over a wide area.

I heard the Geylang Serai, each stall rent is about $18k….so the food I heard from my local friends tat tis round the food is so much more expensive, mainly bcos we r paying mainly for the stall rent😢…
