Wow a horse kick did that to her? I mean i can't even imagine the force of a horse's kick to the human body or skull but damn. One mistake can cause some severe issues. But I'm glad she has her pupper helping her. Hope those two live a long and happy life.
My horse kicked me in the cheek when I was 12 and shattered it, my eye dropped and teeth fell out. The kids at school nicked named me horse kick but I didn't think it was funny. My friend was kicked in the head and needed to metal plate. My brother in law had his leg fractured by a foal. So yeah horses can kick... hard.

My cat knows when my blood sugar or my blood pressure goes up. I told my lifelong BFF, who is also a medical lab tech and a fellow “cat person” that my cat had been behaving very strange and was way more clingy than usual. My BFF knew my family history of diabetes and asked me if I had checked it lately. I hadn’t, so I got it checked. It was over 300! Later I discovered that she also knew when my b/p was dangerously high. She’s never been trained, but she’s also never been wrong. When she starts those protective behaviors, one or the other is dangerously high!
We have almost as long a history with cats in some parts of the world as we do with dogs. Its amazing how they've evolved in response to us to where they can be guardian angles like your cat.
Same here! I have a ragdoll cat named simon and if it weren't for him I would be dead by now you just to half to find the right one to keep you in place ❤️
I got diabetes too, well, I have type 1. It's a little different than type 2.

My dog isnt a service dog and I dont have any disability, but when she talks about that "special bond" I feel like I can relate. My boy chino and I have great bond and our own secret language. We just totally get each other
Aww, what a beautiful video. So glad she has Ryder in her life. I have two rescued adult GSD's, and I can tell you they are crazy intelligent and don't want to leave your side. Their jobs are to protect, love you, and make you laugh, and they excel at all of the above. All the best to Ryder and his mom!

Who else has a SD?
I have one (whose still in training - SDiT) for psychiatric disabilities, medical alert and response, and mobility. My pit bull is easily the best thing that has happened to me, and gave me more confidence to go and be in public areas without fear that I’ll breakdown and not be able to come back without a hospitalization, or some kind of other support system. He’s one of the most loyal dogs I have come across. Hopefully I will soon release me first video, and be changing my channel into a Vloging channel so that he and I will educate people about those who think all disabilities are visible, or think that ANY person is qualified for a SD. Thanks for the people at the Dodo who have touching stories like this to help me understand how other people with SD need help (as I only have limited knowledge since I only have some disabilities). I hope that maybe they could start a mini season with SD’s all over the world - sometime in the future.

I love German Shepherds, my family breeds them and I've grown up with them. I know there are other amazing breeds but the shepherd is always my number one choice, my German Shepherd is a 140 pound guard dog but he is the biggest sweetie I've ever known. Shepherds can be whatever dog you want them to be, and I love that. If your considering getting one just know that they need exercise every single day however, they are very active puppers :)

Great questions! I think your suppose to turn them on their side, and if they have a service dog you let the dog do what' it's trained to.... But I agree, including that info would be helpful!!!
The dog knows what to do if you come across someone who is having a seizure turn them on their side and make sure their air way is clear and call 911

I do not where to get one for my daughter , she has PTSD and it has been really hard for her in the last year, do you know any organization that I can apply to get a service dog for her . Im a handicap mom and in a fix income, really appreciated if you can give me some info ! God Bless !
@@dbb3892 I dont know if they are still active but look into "Operation Saving Jake". They only use and rescue dogs and place them with people who suffer from PTSD

That's the true beauty of dogs, is how much they care about us and how easy it is to train them to do often complex tasks. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder back in 2012 and I had trouble staying on top of my pills and taking them on time, I'm very forgetful. But Jaeger, my pit bull just seemed to know exactly what to do. He got into the habit of leading me to my pill box every morning, he'd paw me awake if I fell asleep without taking my night pills and, most important of all, he was super protective. I was on the balcony of my fifth story apartment, literally sitting with my legs over the edge and all of a sudden, I don't just feel a tug of my shirt, my shirt was yanked and my body went with it and I fell backward onto the concrete of my balcony. Had a lump on my head after that but I was alive because of my dog, who was not trained in ANY way mind you, save basic obedience. He just.... knew, and continues to know. He always comes running if I'm crying, he can sense a panic attack from across the house and comes running. We don't deserve dogs... I wish I had had the forethought to train Jaeger as a service dog. He's 12 now so a little late to get started. x3 But that's okay, he's still the light of my life with or without a vest.
