I remember taking my girls on L'al Ratty when they were little. Wonderful journey. The coconut smelling Gorse is lovely at this time of year. So 'Batman' Harvey says "Holy Diabetes" & then immediately Aife calls out "Robin". Am I the only saddo who noticed this ? I need to get out more 😆. Great video guys x
This was just absolutely beautiful- loved every second! 🥰 I’ll tell you something though…when I die I’m coming back as Oslo! He really does have a dogs life! Beautiful walks and exploring, lovely family and a best friend in Aoife, and cosy sleeps in front of the fire…🥰🤣
Long time since I've been on that little train. Eskdale is one of my favorite spots. The Boot Inn also 😉 Had to add a little Aife moment. Such joy watching her. 😊
Beautiful video. Honestly Aífe is so adorable, she is also very forward! Thanks to a wonderful Mummy & Daddy who surround her in nature and offer slices of all opportunity's on the way,her speech is so clear and her knowledge is outstanding! The way she looked at the Robin and then said,Robin just incredible. She really is a happy little bean & I love how everything you do includes Eífe & Oslo 🐾💙 beautiful boy. Looking forward to all your summer adventures 😊.

A beautiful film , so nice to be out with nature, we are used to changeable weather in this country we just make the most of it. A lovely part of the world. You are a very special family thanks for sharing your time with us.
We took our eldest grandson on Laal Ratty, he is severely disabled and wheelchair bound, they were fantastic, just so kind and helped us board onto a easy access carriage, we had such a great day, I can't recommend Laal Ratty and the people who run it enough, please support this great attraction.
Good evening Athena, Harvey, & Aife! Enjoyed seeing each of you & Oslo. Love how patient Oslo is with Aife. The beauty of a daffodil welcoming Spring. Enjoyed this hike seeing the yellow floral bushes, the ferns, the moss, the waterfalls, the fog, the scenery. A really relaxing camping experience. I loved the train! Have a good week!
Guys I feel like you're getting better and better at filming, the train ride for instance filming at different angles, the robin, at the picnic table sitting together, and more. I'm sorry you left your walking sticks behind on the train. What about calling them because they might have a lost and found area where they keep these things. Harvey singing Aife to sleep, Aife dancing, Harvey cooking a 3 Michelin star menu all simple things yet very beautiful. Another great episode guys and so Grazie di cuore (My heartfelt thanks)!
What a coincidence. Last night I was looking at some photos of when my late wife and I went on the train from Ravenglass and this prompted me to watch a couple of videos of the train journey there and back. Then your vlog pops up. We really enjoyed our day trip, having afternoon tea at the little restaurant at Ravenglass Rail Station. You should have walked down into the village where the village green is right on the sea shore. The tiny row of cottages along Main Street don't have gardens, but most have pots with flowering plants and shrubs, which look really pretty. At the end of Main Street is a flood barrier to stop high tide surges and the beach has warning signs to say no entry if red flags are flying because military exercises are taking place. Also warning people not to pick up certain 'shells' in case they are bombs etc. A fascinating place, as was your vlog. You have a little star in the making there.
Thank you for bringing us with you on the trip. It is a beautiful and enjoyable experience. I marvel at Aife’s balance when she walks on the hike, and also her vocabulary. She said “robin”! Oslo as usual is so steady and cool.
I clicked this expecting it to be a half day's there and back activity on the train, but once you said it was to get to a campsite for the next few nights - winning! ❤ This is a part of the Lake District I've never been to so nice to see it and get some inspiration!
Another lovely start to my Saturday morning watching your beautiful video. Loved the train journey, Aife and Oslo holding onto each other, Aife with her little Robin friend and then dancing outside the pod, followed with bedtime story reading, all so cute. It really looked a lovely place to stay, with such amazing views and beautifully captured scenery along the way.❤️❤️💐
"Pick somewhere on the map." "Straight for the high point!" 😅 This tickled me so much! She's definitely becoming a natural mountaineer and it's delightful to see he eyes light up on adventures! ❤
Such a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing your experience of this very special place. I loved seeing how much your daughter enjoyed her train ride. 😊
Loved this vlog.. that was a cosy little pod, very suitable for the lake district as it rains a lot there.. still one of my favourite places though. I live in Northumberland so I've had many a trip to the lakes..as its not that far to travel. Lovely to see your travels in this area..thanks for sharing.. 🌿🌿
It's been a really slow, begrudging start to Spring down here in Hampshire, UK too. After weeks of rain, the groundwater has lowered a little so the ground's no longer saturated and the sun when we see it, has strength, but rain is forecast ever day for the next few weeks. I'm really missing the Spring dry spell we normally have.
Love this area too! We stayed at the same site last year with Scout. It was brilliant. While we were there Jack and I were chatting about how it would be great to go by train like you have done, it's looks like so much fun!
Hi guys, All i keep thinking about is did Aife get her walking poles back from the little train? Its been on my mind. How cute when she said "Robin" she is going to be a very well educated young woman she grows up. Beautiful vlog as always. x
Beautiful vlog 😊. I love how you raise Aife, in an healthy environment, surrounded by love and showing her the meaning of a beautiful life❤
