In this fight Sittichai had advantage in striking and he obviously just clinched for knee attack, which should not be illegal in any K1's kickboxing fight. BTW, the yellow card just came right after Sittichai landed one of the most powerful knee in this fight. The knee was so clear and effective as shown in replay, and it is easy to feel that the referee saved Khamal with the yellow card. That was why the audience were so angry when the referee stopped the fight.

No, it was a legit yellow card. Clinching is very important in Muay Thai, but in a kickboxing match it totally ruins the fight.
