- Sheilla Tavares de Castro, universally known simply as Sheilla, is a fantastic player and a funny person. Sheilla was the first Brazilian player ever to ask for jersey number 13. The list is longer, but this should be enough. She was thirteen when a teacher brought her to her first club, Mackenzie Esporte. She started as a middle blocker, then was moved to outside hitter, the role that made her a star. At that time she probably had not in mind about leaving her country and playing abroad for many years: exactly four seasons, all spent in Italy with the same club. And when she decided to go back to Brazil in 2008, she was no more a 7 points player, so she was more requested than ever. With the Brazilian ranking system, a club could have only two players ranked 7 points (usually national team players): the system was created to balance the championship and avoid grouping top players in a few teams. No hay ni habrá mejor jugadora de todos los tiempos como la GRAN ANA MOSER...en esos tiempos ella se enfrentaba a la LEYENDA VIVA MIREYA LUIS y al MEJOR EQUIPO DE VOLEY DE LA HISTORIA MUNDIAL DE ESE DEPORTE QUE FUE CUBA, nunca la generación de esta brasileña podrá ni siquiera igualarla puesto que el voley en esos tiempos no requerían de centrales y mujeres de más de 1.90 cm ni liberos, Ella ANA MOSER era técnica, fuerza , coraje , atacante recepcionista, bloqueadora una JUGADORA UNIVERSAL.

Depois fala que saltar muito com jogadoras altas faz a diferença! Faz muitas vezes claro! Sheila atacava a 3,15 ( bem alta) mas se especializou em bolas rápidas, e muita técnica para sair e explorar o bloqueio! Ela seria essencial contra a Cuba dos anos 90, seu psicológico é uma grande arma! Sua mente fez com que se tornasse umas das melhores do mundo! Nunca tinha visto uma oposta tão habilidoso! Grande Zé Roberto que tirou a Jaque de oposto e colocou a Sheila, e óbvio a Jaque foi uma craque na preparação e volume de jogo! Muitoad criticam ele, todos tem falhas, mas ele muito grandes equipes em pouco tempo!!

Jogadora que tinha todos os golpes e era muito decisiva, sempre nos últimos sets ela destacava no bloqueio, saque e golpes, sua inteligência favorecia o Brasil era um técnico dentro de quadra , além de umas das melhores opostas quando atuava, características vista nela, Sokolova, regla Torres e Zhu.
