Raising 7kids is no easy. Lot of challenges, adjustments and struggles thus you have to be tough enough to go through this stages. My big salute to you Mr and Mrs Miller for keeping the faith ❣️
Post partum anxiety and depression after adoption therfore is real. I have felt that after adopting my child. Its nice to know that my feeling then was valid ❤️
I've been using the analogy of a pregnancy during the whole process of our adoption, but never thought about postpartum. And yes, it is real. And it is good to know it is not my fault and it is not just me. It helps to think about it as part of the process.
We adopted 3 children. Now im a mommy of 5 ages 8,4,2,2&2. I have no idea how we can afford it lol. Birthday parties are driving me crazzy! I can only say God provides! We have always had more than enough to make our kids happy, thanks to God. 🥰

You could write a whole book on this. In my eyes, no one can be an expert at adoption but one can be amazing parents - you guys are exactly that!!!
My parents adopted me in the 80s, and there was a big waiting list back then and it was a lot harder back then. I went looking for my birth family it wasn't a good experience at the start with the bio parents side. But I have my biological grandmother and cousins now that we will meet eventually. So it turned into a positive.
I don’t look at you guys as a “white saver” I mean I look at some youtubers as that but idk I can definitely tell that your kids truly love & adore you guys… Stephan and Amanda just seem so pure and so sweet 🥲!! I don’t watch family channels anymore but I just love your family, I love the way you’re bringing your kids up. The bond you have have with each child especially Lincoln and Penny, & the compassion you both share with them. The vibe, the energy it’s all there!

So sad that so many folks see white as right, white as the master race etc., how sick, these folks should read up on the skin colour of Jesus, which is obviously not proven however respected adacemics/historians etc., believe his skin colour was dark, not white.

I love your diverse family. Jude, Liam, Penelope and Lincoln are such good, loving kids. I have the utmost respect for you and Stephen. You have brought them into your home and have shown them love and by watching your videos, you can tell that they know they are loved. Your natural born kids love them and they are a tight unit all together.
You guys inspire me so much to adopt in the future. I'm learning a lot from you and I love watching your videos. 🇧🇷❤️

We adopted from fostercare and we do not match our childrens race but we also didn't pick the children. All we did was open our home and then love them. The opportunity to adopt the children came up and we said yes. Our children did not have any options to be with birth family and they needed us, all we did is say yes.

You two are so encouraging!! I had never heard of going through a depression after adoption, I thought it was just me. Our girls were adopted from fostercare and we are really struggling with our oldest and it has been really hard bonding and feeling happy about the adoption. Thank you for this vlog. I needed this.

I remember when my husband and I started the initial process of an international adoption and the realization that we needed to come up with the money. A dear friend of mine pointed out that the total cost was no more than what people pay for a new vehicle. That really put it in perspective for us!
My husband always uses this example. He says, “A brand new car depreciates as soon as you drive it off the lot. Investing in a life lasts for eternity.”

Thank for sharing! I love the honesty and advice. This video really encouraged me as a grandma who has several grand babies who've been adopted by amazing families. I miss them every day , but as the birth moms continue in addiction, legal issues and unsafe activities it's very clear that adoption protected the children and gave them a happy life. Thank you to families who give children the love,understanding and nurturing they need and deserve.

Wow, you guys discussing the financial cost of adopting a child gave me a huge revelation on the Father. It shows how much you love your children that you PAID to have them in your family. God PAID for us with the blood of Jesus to be a part of his family and adopted us. That's LOVE! Wow

My little brother who is adopted had food issues. And i like how you touched upon sayin " you will always have enough. Not just for now but as a parent a job is to make sure you are always fed. Your advice about others judging is really helpful as this has been hard so far.
In England we also do not get any allowance to adopt.
The advice about anxiety was very useful as I've never been told this before . I am confident mostly about our decision but then will have sleepless nights panicking about all sorts of scenarios.
I think all over the world many parents have made the step to adopt because of your ministry and I hope you know what a difference your channel is making.

This was such a good Q&A... When my parents did their international adoptions in the 80s there were no grants to help people do it, it was expensive but thankfully a banker said Yes and gave them a pretty big amount of money to go out of the country to get my brothers and told them you just pay it back when you can! The timeline from the start sending in paperwork was quick, sent in July, told yes early August went out end of August, adopted week after seeing them in person home few days later but I know it is not like that anymore! One thing my brothers have never been interested in is going to explode their birth country or even find relatives, only recently they asked to see their adoption papers!

My Mother had her last birth at 43 and never flowed again, after baby sister was born. She called her "my change of life baby". Everyone was so happy when she was brought home. Needless to say it was love on overdrive. She got spoiled but in a good way.💕

Im so happy you have adopted 4 amazing kids. You are a very loving family and you have inspired me to adopt in the future. Here in Colombia there are a lot of kids waiting for a family and sadly its so difficult for them to be adopted after they turn 5, even though adoption is free in the ICBF. Hope there are more people like you willling to give them a family. ♥♥♥

Thank you for this video, it is so helpful. We are looking into adoption at the moment. Our training has been delayed 3 months because where we live there are no children requiring adoption which is great for the children. We are now discussing if we should go the overseas adoption route but my husband is very concerned about being able to afford that route as we are a 1 income family. I on the otherhand just keep praying that God will show us which path to take. xx
