Glad you like it...I recommend using lighter card stock weight as the points might be tougher to make with thicker card stock...I hope you'll make it and email me a photo of it.
Love how this card turned out. We use a lot of your card ideas in our scrapbooking lol just love it instead of a saying in side we will put a picture. Just love it
Very nice fold Sandy.....I'll have to give this fold a try when I return home...I'll have to figure this card on a smaller version....well done and tfs
I'm not sure if it would work making it smaller, as the points and folds are a little tricky at this size, and making it smaller might be super tricky. Let me know if you figure out how to do it though, as i'd love to see yours.
Kate, I don't think we've talked before and I'm so glad you like my explanations. I couldn't ask for a better compliment, so thank you!! I hope I'll hear from you again. Sandy
Sandy, I love this fold and the peach paper. Nice, subtle use of the peg stamps, too. Sorry to read about your camera. Enjoy the remainder of Summer. I did find a Reuse Center in my area & plan to email you after I've visited it for the first time, next month. Thanks for all you do!
I can't wait to hear about the reuse center and wish I had one near me. Let me know all about it....I'm so excited for you. So glad you enjoyed this card, as it's simple but has great Wow factor...I got my replacement camera in the mail today, so I'm no longer fretting about it and will be jumping on a new video tomorrow.
Just the inspiration I needed I sat here thinking about what cards to make I seam to have fedupitis that's my speak for crafters block , It's gone to my thumbs up so I can keep going back to check the card, I have three cards to make one for a friend who as landed in hospital and two sympathy cards . Hugs from the UK .
I know you'll love the results you get from making this card. It's not hard to make and your friends/family will think it's awesome..I loved "fedupitis" and thought it was hysterical...sounds like something I would have made up, and it's even better, coming from you!
Hi again Sandy! This arrow card fold card is sooo pretty! I really enjoyed watching this tutorial. The pattern papers are so lovely and the teal with the foil paper is my absolute favorite. Thank you for all you do for us, it is always greatly appreciated. You are an awesome teacher! Most sincerely, Katz Baugh
Katz, You are so kind. I wanted to create a channel where we could all learn together and have fun, and I didn't want anyone to think they couldn't do something if I tried it. It's been so much fun getting to meet so many wonderful people like yourself. I'd love to send you a card if you would email me your address. saundralparker@yahoo.com.
Hi Sandy, Just had to say how overjoyed I am at finding you again. My dear, protective son and grandson came over to help me sort out my tablet I use........well, they were horrified at all the youtube things was subscribed to. Explained that by signing up to all notifications etc I was letting in all sorts of rubbish....not from the TH-camrs, but from the system and that was why I had hundreds of recommendations etc. They cleared all my backlog and did a systems check etc. Hugged me and lovingly told me my tablet was now safe and secure. I've not been able to find you 😨😭😭 my old brain cell could not remember your name etc. Looking for images of arrow fold card YOU POPPED UP YEAH!! So thrilled 😁😂😁 Love how you've made this look so easy, thank you. Know it's from 2018, forgive me being personal please.....just wanted to say how beautiful your nails look. Love from UK
I have the same issues with my laptop and Rich has to sort it out from time to time. He gives me recommendations, but as quickly as he gives them, I've forgotten what he's said. Since my channel isn't monetized, you shouldn't get ads on it and it should be safe to set as one of your favorites, but to be sure, please ask your son or grandson before you do it. I'm so glad you've found me again and hope all is well with you.....you can always email me, if you lose my channel again at saundralparker@yahoo.com....and I'll be happy to reconnect....Sandy

Hey Pauline, so glad you like this one, and it's pretty simple to do...use lighter weight card stock so it's easier to fold, and then line the back if you need to like I did. Sometimes that inexpensive 12 x 12" white paper from Joanns is perfect for cards with intricate folds like this one.. I hope you'll give this a try and email me a photo of yours at saundralparker@yahoo.com.
Debi, This is so easy and I think you'll really enjoy making it. You're right, it's a different look...I liked trying different ways to highlight the different layers of the "V"...Hope you'll send me a photo of what you create with this technique. saundralparker@yahoo.com Sandy
I hope you're doing well and that you and your group heard my shout out to all of you in the last video with the doilies. The card is really fun and I hope you'll give it a try. Use light weight card stock so it's easier to score and fold. Glad to know you're still out there...YAY!!!!
Hi Sandy, I haven't finished watching this video yet but I was wondering if you have any videos that explain the difference between a Thinlet and a Framelet? I just can't seem to find that. And maybe why the cards we make are smaller than the cards we buy. Or maybe if you can send me in the right direction. Thanks
The difference between a framelit and a thinlet....A framelit is a thin die that is shaped like a frame, although it can be round, square etc., it's like a picture frame in that it surrounds the sentiment or card. A thinlet is simply a thin die, and can be words or animals, etc. I'm not sure, but I think Stampin' Up uses both of these terms and they are confusing. I found this explanation to add to what I wrote so you can see the difference. iteachstamping.com/2015/07/die-cutting-with-thinlits-and-framelits-and-dies/ As for the size of the cards we make versus the ones we buy in stores. I think most card makers use the standard A2 size card which is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded. It's definitely small, but I think the reason it is so popular, is that you can make two cards from one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" cardstock, by cutting it in half, then folding each half to make the perfect card. Hallmark and the card retailers use larger cards, more like 5 x 7" cards. You can easily change your cards to that size simply by cutting your cardstock to 10" long by 7" tall and folding it in half on the 10" length, to make a 5 x 7" card. I've made a lot of the larger cards, and if it's not a fun fold technique, you should be able to change almost any card to the larger size. In stores, if you buy premade envelopes, I think they are called A7, but I like to make my own envelopes as it's less expensive. I'll attach a few links to larger cards I've made so you have some ideas, as well as how to make your own envelopes without any tools. If I didn't answer a question, or if you have more, please email me at saundralparker@yahoo.com and I'd be happy to help.
