Janaki is an evershining star in light music..( play back singer) She has created her own eminence in that field. It's not that easy to impress the audience with S. Janaki's song. Hardly an hour ago, before your post’s notification came, I listened to സന്ധ്യേ കണ്ണീരിതെന്തേ സന്ധ്യേ, and was playing repeatedly ‘നിൻമുഖംപോൽ’ as I couldn’t resist myself from wanting to hear it again and again. This has been my ‘the most favourite song of Janakiyamma' but as a matter of fact, I hadn't listened to this gem for quite a while. As was I listening to the song, your fondness for the legendary singer sprung to my mind and I was thinking about messaging you about her rendition which has elevated the song to another level, hence your post came as an unbelievable coincidence. I recall that this song has an extremely soothing effect on one of my friend’s autistic son. Beautifully sung by Mythili. When you spoke about Balu Sir’s repetition, another anecdote I read about his idol came to my mind, Rafi Saheb’s rendition of Din Dhal Jaye, the music director Sachin Dha was happy with the first rendition itself but Rafi Saheb went on to sing the song 26 times as he was not personally satisfied with the expression especially for “Kaun Manaaye” and Balu Sir has spoken about the unmatchable feel of “Kaun manaaye”😊
