@@hairohukosu433 Not sure about that, but they said that they liked the way they made music at that time, yet won't be coming back to the "style" of the 2 first albums. So I guess they like the aspects of it, but don't want to sound like these tunes anymore.
Hairo Hukosu I doubt, I think imo Muse's newer stuff are more "cringe", maybe because it aims more to the mainstream side y'know, not saying that it's bad but..that's not the Muse I know.

@@hfl_ thank god I wrote "supposed". At the time, there were people believing that it would be a heavier album because of wont stand down and matt sudden interest in slipknot. Sadly it turned out to be their weakest album so far
@@rubinho388 The depressing part is that, as far as I know, the only reason Matt was interested in Slipknot is because his kid is into them. Muse is a huge part of why I even got into music and I absolutely love their earlier stuff, but this recent album was downright atrocious. There was maybe one song or 2 I liked off of Simulation Theory, but with WOTP I'm just ashamed to be a Muse fan. It almost seems like a parody of what they used to be.

They played a lot of rare old songs in 2015, mainly raw stuff from the early days that fit really well with the drones album
I hope they'll do it again now
