@@MavihsLH You know, I sometime wonder if there was no political agenda behind Magase's motives at all. Maybe the suicide law was more of a "means to an end", and she would show adherence to basically whatever movement that would allow to fulfill her so-called "objective" (again, the whole making people realize what "good" is by defining what "bad" is, being some sort of adjudicator). Could make sense considering also how the author ended the whole suicide law issue by not giving a definite answer on what ultimately happens afterwards and leaving it into a "gray" area; and that may be because of fear of giving a very definite opinion on the matter (still a touchy topic for some people, and expecially so in Japan), or maybe, because it was subordinate to a more important plot point (for them). I'm sure the opinions on the suicide law would be on the negative after what Seizaki did, but, it's not like Magase couldn't work to ultimately change that if she wanted to. (I'm just speculating and sharing possible thoughts, mind you, I'm not saying I like this interpretation.) I suppose the above would also make sense if she truly is a supernatural entity (since they don't usually follow common sense and tend to operate on "higher" morality), but as you said, there is no confirmation and the show more or less just dropped vague hints from the start, which could be either actual hints, or just artificious writings to build a layer of mystique around Magase's true nature. Well, to be fair, if we dive into wild speculation based on what the show DIDN'T tell us, in the final scene with Seizaki, we could even wonder if Magase was even there in the first place. They show a camera filming Seizaki from the helicopter, but Magase could not be seen from that angle, which once again works sideways. And it's not like Seizaki didn't have auditory and visive allucinations related to Magase before, although you could also just blame it on obsession-induced hysteria... Or just on Magase's "power", as well. In short, I think the story, while generally scientific and organized, has a lot of plot points and topics who are left to personal interpretation; it's almost like if the author really didn't care about expanding on them, and focused on something else instead. Which could either be a good or bad thing, depending on your tastes. The only thing that could potentially clear some doubts on this topic, would be to read the original novel, and see if some changes has been made or if some meaning has been lost in translation... Y'know, the whole issues with the ending kinda reminds me when Sekaisuru: Kado came out a few years ago. Absolutely gorgeous show and the ending was superb. Really makes you analyze the story. The music creates such an atmosphere and this piece truly fits Ai Magase.
Sometimes, the most destructive people in the world, make the least sense. But this woman right here, is so unbelievably pure in her intentions to destroy literally everything she touches, that it makes even less sense than if she had some complex, multi layered motivations. She is evil. That's the truth, written in stone. An evil so pure and focused that it's almost admirable in action. But the question that's being asked is... Is she a necessary evil? It's a question I will probably be stuck with forever.

T All endings can’t be happy :(
ABSOLUTELY!
@@majimapyro370 magase literally fucked me in the ass
Absolutely gorgeous show and the ending was superb. Really makes you analyze the story. The music creates such an atmosphere and this piece truly fits Ai Magase.
If only they could invest more in her character, her background, and her "powers", the anime would be great
shiyuru99 agree!!
there is nothing to explain, say she is evil in person, the babylonia beast as shown at the end, and the anime shows it in a philosophical way
@@brunotakeda2875
In episode 4 they said all her family dead without reasons
I don't know why they don't show this reasons
@@y_ad7751 so not even in the light novel do I show this anymore it should be interpretive as final
@@brunotakeda2875
Novel is still ongoing
I think its would we will getting season 2
As always, you save our skin
Sometimes, the most destructive people in the world, make the least sense.
But this woman right here, is so unbelievably pure in her intentions to destroy literally everything she touches, that it makes even less sense than if she had some complex, multi layered motivations.
She is evil. That's the truth, written in stone. An evil so pure and focused that it's almost admirable in action. But the question that's being asked is...
Is she a necessary evil?
It's a question I will probably be stuck with forever.
Underrated anime, ppl who I recommended it was rly suprised, love it
We need season 2
I love Babylon. Tanks for the ost
Now people can just die without pain...!
I've been looking for this since episode 3
Damn, I only watched episode 1... need to watch this now...
DONT DO IT
Trash
DO IT if you like Psycho Pass, Ghost in the Shell
Or conspiracy thriller like Tokyo Ghoul and psychological thriller like Monster
This anime is a masterpiece and the OST does not desapoint
Fumio.. I miss you..
More ost of this anime bro!
Is amazine!!
MUCH FEELINGS MUCH EMOTIONAL
I can always hear Seizaki-san screaming her name
MAGASEEEEEE!😠😂
MAGASEEEE AIII!!!❤️
Total waifu😍🤩
She is hands down one of the best villains ever in anime history👏🏻
The OST is 🔥
Thanks for uploading it😁
This is a gem of an anime
Many people always leave the hidden gems and go for the mainstream ones lol
And she’s the best villain of 2019
Neither Askellad or Overhaul are the winners
She’s a cut above
She’s pure evil
That is Magase Ai♥️
Well said!!
Perkūnas lmao well that’s the debate over internet, especially on fb groups(otaku groups) that Askellad and Overhaul are the best villains in 2019😂😂😂
And I had no words cause all they do is watch mainstream overhyped animes and come to a judgement that they are the best characters ever🤣🤣🤣it’s funny I know, but yes that’s why I stated their names😂
Blades O Grass well you should watch it already then😁and he is totally beat, Askellad as a character is amazing and I love Vinland Saga, but as a “villain” Magase Ai is just pure evil 😈 do watch it😄
well, but is Askeladd a villain?
waifu????
Why tf is this so good. I might actually watch Babylon cuz of this
Thank youuuuuuuu
This track can just make you feel cold and gross all over if you let it, almost a little sad but in a pitiful way, like you’re the one committing a crime or something and it is fascinating ☠️👏
Love the synth then all the strings that are in it the piano in the middle then the synth and string part agian . Perfectly fit every scene that it played. Dark, Tragic, a little sadness to it
I am addicted to this
The final episode was so good!!
Agree!!!
Yes bit that bitch Is alive
This anime left me with a lot of questions
Best ost
oh god i love this one
love this ost
MAGASEEEEEEE!!!!
We back to the greatest OST ever been
Yutaka Yamada is a genious
I been looking for this ost for a long time lol
Bro this theme song would come up if soul sand starts walking
Good quality Axe.
2023 theme song place your votes ladies and gentlemen

Gen Sid if I’m not mistaken, you ca listen/stream the song on Apple Music.
