As I was watching your video; it appeared to me that you were NOT using a "splitting" axe! It looks exactly like the Helko Werk "Universal" axe! Granted; you can split with any kind of axe; but again; it does not look like you are using the dedicated splitting axe.
If I spend that kind of money on a splitting axe I would put a slice under what I’m splitting to keep the blade out of the dirt.. why you breathing so hard ?? LOL

That’s ground is frozen, plus the German blades are actually strong enough to take a beating!
