Really great video. I love your channel. I was wondering if you can make a vid showing your whole schedule when doing pottery… do you take breaks, do you do all this all at once, what’s the planning process like? Etc. I’m trying to get into pottery myself and it’d be great to see how another potter handles all these overwhelming tasks 😊
I just realised now that clay throwing is basically earthbending...so, that means you are an earthbender! I loved watching your process. It is truly magical how your hands work with the clay and shape it.
Hey there, I am an aspiring potter and I found your channel and just wanted to say thank you. Your videos are such great lessons and I love the style of your pottery. I can't wait until the next video. Thanks and cheers!
I love your videos! And what a perfect timing for the video. I am throwing my first ever commission work of mugs today and I am feeling quite nervous. This gave me some tips on how to make my life a bit easier :D
Been in clay over a decade and have given the "water sealing" method for trimming a go lately--I'm somewhat obsessed! Not having to use the lugs is quite freeing. Thanks for giving me the confidence to try a fun new technique :)
Hi Lily thank you so much for sharing your work through your videos- they're awesome. I understand this was reclaim but what clay body do you usually throw with please? Asking as i'm in love with the speckles but confused if I should be looking at groggred clay. Im so 'green' i be kermit,! thanks for any guidance ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤
thanks for your videos. very helpful! question: do you clean up at all after glazing? I get those drip marks and little “dings” from touch up. thanks again!

Brilliant 🤘🤘
Nice color on the mug and the mug design is perfect. Simple and easy to hold.
Tried your hack for removing pots from the wheel and loved it! Thank you, your videos are always a pleasure to watch
Love the hobet glaze 😍

Yeah it’s honestly amazing. Works well with wider pieces if you’re having trouble getting the knack
Thanks so much!

Same question here!
it’s just a speckled stoneware! It’s grogged but grog doesn’t always equal speckle, it’s usually just sand
@@MaeCeramics thanks so much im happy clay shopping - i feel some experiments coming on! 😍

I love how little water you use! I end up with loads of clay water which is a real problem - even with new clay. A skill I must work on ….
beautiful! what glaze did you use?
It’s a glaze I made myself. Coloured w iron oxide
We need the how to do your own glazes video please. That cup was awesome. The size and color!!!
Great video! I was curious, what was the size of your cylinder after throwing? I feel I'm always not throwing thin enough :p
From memory around 8cm h x 9 or 10cm wide
@@MaeCeramics thanks ! :)
