UPDATE: As others have shared, and with the current market at time of this comment, DEFINITELY USE YOUR EXOTIC COINAGE if you have the Artifacts. You can near max out your artifacts in ~40 logbooks, and that USING the exotic coins can 3x-4x the value of them (eg. brief example at 12:07 in vid) via the raw currencies & drops you get from buying stuff via Tujen. It DOES take time to haggle (which could be spent farming more), but with current market, I now feel it's worth it, especially if you want to chill out for a bit which has its own value. I updated my excel sheet with profit calculations from 579 Exotic Coins spent, earning a profit of 39 exalts from those coins, after running around 60 logbooks to earn the artifacts.
hello, how did you manage to get 20 exalt orbs? Based on my measurements, you get one ex about every 100 coins. Although once Tujen offered me 4 orbs in one package. If this did not happen during your measurement, Tujen offered you ex shards very often
Amazing video, just getting into Logbook farming and you explained it very well. Spreadsheet is a godsend. The video & spreadsheet are much appreciated. Doing the lords work my man ^^
This is awesome, when I get home tonight I’m going to run the city square expedition farming guide you put out to start making my own logbook collection then I’m going to run logbooks the next day just to keep things different and fresh ! These videos are well explained and super helpful ! Definitely earned my subscribe.
I've been doing this for the last week. The problem is that logbooks are so stupid rare. If you want to run exped, its best to just buy logbooks and continuously run them - and use those points on the tree for something more profitable.
@@waynewalkerorg I ran the city square method for a couple hours and had tons of re roll currencies and quite a bit of logbooks. So not sure if you’re employing the method correctly or juicing enough for quantity. When doing it you want as much quantity as possible and juice so you can pop a ton of altars to get more currencies is double chances and more rarity and quantity in map. Some maps I’ve dropped 3-4 logbooks because of good roles
New Sub here, This video was done REALLY well, No access fat on this video, it was clean and to the point. You have a charismatic voice that is easy to understand and every bit of information given here was useful. Thanks for the time you spent uploading this.
In my experience last league, using the exotic coinage and even buying extra by reinvesting currency gained from the books and tujen would on average quadruple the cost of each coin used, it was ridiculous. The experience of haggling for hours is something some people may not enjoy though.
This its rather counter efficient to farm logbooks and not use exotic coins(since you do farm materials). On average each coin will net you around 8-12 c gain.
You are absolutely right, this league I farmed about 200 sun and scythe. And it is always better to use coins then sell them(burial coins and exotic). I had 1.5k chaos per hour just cos of tujen. Farmed my headhunter in 2 days playing poison conc with 5ex budget :D
it does take time where you could also run more maps. On the other hand if you enjoy the occasional chill haggeling time like I do that is a great way to play the game without being on the edge all the time as the game is very fast and can be exhausting if you don't play a very tanky build.
i am done with the league got my mageblood in 2 weeks i wish you have not made this video now everyone know the secret :/ ehehheheheh kidding nice video.
I've ran ONE logbook since they were introduced to the game but your video is concise so i'm going to watch, take notes and start running some logbooks. Who knows, I might find it really fun after some time.
I have been farming city Square expedition, making great returns 👏 I have 60 logbooks left after selling, seeing this I won't be selling anymore I'll be running em, love ur content bro.. ty
Another note, summon mage skeletons is probably the best build to run log books due to how tanky you are and the fact that the skeletons you spawn can either be cold, fire, and lightning damage. Making it so you do not have to look at most modifiers and just run them without being so cautious.
If you have at least 6mil mapping dps on mages, you can even do expeditions with 1/3 the damage (elemental immunity), as long as you stay far away and not be exposed to be hit often.
to be honest, skeleton mages is the worst build to run log books. Yes u can do 3 types of elements, but only one elemental immunity can slow down your clear speed by a lot. And i haven’t mentioned monsters’ block chance, 50% block chance (50% from only 1 remnant) and 1 elemental immunity = pain in the ass
I just finished watching your Expedition Farming video and was going to ask "Why are logbooks so valuable, and should you run them yourself instead of selling them?" then I realized this was just uploaded. Thanks for the great guides. This is the first league I'm playing since Ritual, so I'm only now experiencing the Expedition mechanic due to it unfortunately being launched alongside "the great nerf". Shame, because the interactions I've had with this mechanic so far are really fun. Hope I'll be able to enjoy it lots this league!
I think you should haggle your exotic cointage as well because on the logbooks you're getting a lot of artifacts for haggling and i think thats kind of a loose to not use them while haggling, and you're making huge profit with tujen. I did a little sheet with 940 exotic cointage on haggling and i got back 55ex profit, with 25 raw ex and 1954 chaos which reimburse all the coins by itself. But it can be a little boring but you can watch a show or a movie while doing this, it took me around 3-4h for the 940 ec so around 10-11ex/hour And you also should corrupt your logbooks for a little more item Quant % But thanks for your data, really good video :)
Wow that’s incredible profit from the haggles! Tujen is the man. I agree that it’s a bit of a waste to just leave them hanging. With profits like that, using the coins is a must if you can tank the boredom part.
If you're planning on using Tujen to gamble/haggle, would it make sense to focus a bit more on remnants that give artifacts since you'll be needing/using them since you cant buy them in bulk anymore? Then obviously for Dannig or Gwenen, just focus on runic monsters, currency chests and underground/boss areas for more reroll currency you'll be planning on selling?
Yes, that is right! Artifact chests and artifact remnants/logbook implicits can rapidly stack up the artifacts needed for Tujen rerolls and is very worth targetting at the moment.
@@Daykun Thank you for your reply. Btw, if you have a logbook that has the factions you want (Tujen/Dannig) but on the three bad areas, and then a bad faction like Rog but on a god tier layout, what is the lesser of two evils? @@HFTVChannel Hello and thanks. But that's not my question exactly. I get your point, but my question is more like : Is it more efficient to run Druids over Blacksythe, for exemple. First I'll start just having the nodes you suggested on your other video on my tree and just run my maps alch and go, if even not using Scarabs I get good results I'll start using them
@@aandrenery it's such a big winner , even doing just polished in 2 days of casual play I managed to get 45 logbooks , now im just lookin at a big wall xd
@@jac1897 Thats great. I'm playing the Omni TS build right now and The Interrogation price is going up haha. Heard its a huge damage boost to get it
Lol i did same so farm got like 300 ex and farmed headhunter in 2 days kinda busted strat
Best man! :) thx
Selling the exotic coinage is a big loss tho..
When u doing those 100 logbooks u will have tons of artifact and it will be wasted. Just do a quick refresh and quick haggle. Havent done much logbook this season, but i did alot of them on expedition season, even when the artifact still tradable i made a profit close to 20ex from haggling with tujen alone with only like 200 exotic. So the logic on this season it would be much profitable since artifact is not tradable anyway.
whoah, I am convinced haha
too much event in poe right now . feel like i dont have much time to focus every event.
right now im focusing farming on level. till i hit 100. that enough for me. no mtx no problem.
I like haggling. Some of his voice lines make me chuckle. I run expedition in my maps not sure it would be more profitable to sell the logbooks and do another map or run them myself. They are fun though.
Run them. They are crazy profitable. Especially if you enjoy throwing down with Tujen.
can you give me atlas passive?
I get rog 90% of the time it may work for you but not for me just too unlucky feelsbad
Good job. Like repost
5ex/h when ur main profit is what u sell... And on video u show only lucky ex drops... I prefer farming brother stasches but ok not bad video at all
idk how u can profit without using artefacts, that's where all the profit comes in

Nice
No matter how profitable I’ll still hate expedition
I have never seen a single logbook drop :(
Have you tried playing the game?
Dam 35 c each i cant afford them xd
Just avoid sarn slums, that map sucks
You must have gotten some awards for public speaking or something...
