Oh yeah, he was cheering on Vi and Cait in Arcane and seemed to recognize that this is where Luz and Amity are going a couple of episodes back, the man's alright.
I don't think I've ever seen a reactor have a negative reaction to Lumity. Even Truck Drivin Kid Billy, who is very open about his Christian beliefs was totally on board with Lumity as well as the show overall. Homophobia is just not nearly as common as the homophobes want us to think.

My mom and I just finished watching the show (my second time watching, actually) and she finds Hooty’s voice really annoying. I felt the same for a while but the weird bird tube thing has really grown on me. 😅
The week this aired, my Tumblr was LOADED with gifs of the dance and the note. The animation looked so clean and there being a teenage girl crushing on another girl had me watch this show instantly. Binged through this episode in time for the next episode. Now this is my favorite show. Always happy to see you watching it.
After this song aired there's a song called Little Miss Perfect that made the whole fandom going crazy about how it relates so much to Amity's character , and the song gets so popular to the point where Alex Hirsch himself tries to sing this song IN HOOTY'S voice (it's very funny and cursed at the same time) And I know how much u Love Hooty so maybe u can check it out
I freakin' love how weird Luz's Grom outfit is. This episode did so much to make me really buy into Luz's character. Up until now, her weirdness has been more asserted than actually shown, and compared to for instance Anne from Amphibia she seemed a little bland and generic throughout most of season one, but from this episode I just loved her.
I think it's safe to assume her outfit at home/school was probably picked out by her mom, because when left to her own devices... the outfits she makes are pretty different and quirky. Which adds another layer to that dynamic if true, and of course, another layer to the beginning of the show where she has that outfit for the majority of it.
In my opinion this is the episode where Owl House finally kicks into full gear. Not to knock the stuff that came before it, but this feels like the first real pay off for a lot of the set up and obviously theres way more to come.
Yeah, feeling the same way. This episode really showed the potential of the show and its characters. Whenever I want to watch some Owl House this is one of the episodes I go back to.

The animation for the dance is done by Spencer Wan. He’s responsible for all the fluid animated action scenes we’ve seen in season 1 so far, including the fight in Covention. It’s so pretty. The music for the dance is also just, really solid.
This episode and the last one were the ones that really began to pull me into this show (I had a bit of a slow start with it). Even ignoring more in-depth developments, the scene when Amity and Luz dance was just so pretty to look at (you are right, there are moments in this show when the animation just steps it up, haha). The colors, the music, their movement, everything! As you might imagine, the scene brought a lot of great fanart (and I'm now specifically referring to redraws) into existence too. That's when you know it left a strong impression.
This episode is the exact reason I started watching the series. Once I saw my Twitter timeline freaking out about the animation and the ship when the ep. aired, I just HAD to watch it. Well worth it, was hooked since episode 1
Ooh that’s a great lore drop in the end. Also I love your wanting for more in these episodes. Also yeah the blushes have meant stuff Amity Likes Luz!!! it’s january 17th this is part 16/? (Edit) Okay this is the second comment i’ve seen that I dated wrong, see this is why I go back, I literally changed this like a minute after I changed the last one. It said 17/? it’s supposed to say 16/? which it does now.
The jump in animation was done by the man himself Spencer Wan. He only worked on season 1 but anytime you see the animation quality rise in season 1 it was most likely by him👌🏾
This and the episodes before and after are probably my favorite episodes in season 1, partly because the obvious but they also do an amazing job at picking apart Luz's flaws. Understanding Willow showed that she was extremely determined to fix a problem despite Willow stating that she's okay with what's going on, of courseit worked out but mind you Amity almost died during that mission. And this one is also about her extreme determination but also notice the ending, she's not excited but she's very upset because she couldn't handle the problem and thinking herself as weak and fragile. Definitely keep this in mind looking forward.
My fear of spiders started because of that film haha. Was terrified when I watched it when I was a kid and then I had a nightmare that evening of dog sized spiders trying to get into my house 😭
I love this show for it´s character developement and interactions. It´s not that the characters change unnaturally from episode to episode to fit the plot, but rather grow with the plot. And it´s also that the caracters are relatable. They aren´t chosen ones with prophetic grait destenies, they´re just normal people. He took her through the portal. it may have been intentional by eda to tell him to get a humans attention to follow, so she would have someone to unlock the barrier to kings crown.
