I remember back in 2014, I was in 1st grade, everytime I come back from school me and my uncle would play this game together. Everytime a new world gets added we would be very motivated to finish the whole game, then Modern Day came out in 2016 we were still playing it enjoyably, it never got old. Until we beat the whole game after nearly 2 years of playing the game and arguably the best period of my childhood. This game along with Angry Birds holds a special place in my heart that would never rot and wither.

The music is the Key to make a great game experience. I played these levels with my sister, and sometimes my cousin, and OHHH BOY, those were great days in Junior School

The level up system literally killed this game. It's so dumb that you can't play the hardest pinata in the hardest way possible anymore because levels make this physically impossible. And in general this game was a tough game which, if you want to beat this in the hardest way possible, tested your strategy skills in a very amazing way and just had a clear purpose with a few extras. Now all this game wants to test you is your buying and measuring skills which is not what this game was about, thanks to EA 😔
I always come back for the intro of this theme. The first minute of this track is so calm and peaceful, yet feels sad and desolate a bit. I could listen to it for literal hours on loop. Thank you for the upload!
This song really gets you thinking about Ancient Egypt and its remains. A lost civilization from a bygone era, lying on the vast, golden dunes of the Sahara, in the meeting point between Africa and Asia. How melancholic. A shame modern Egypt doesn't quite have the same glory.
I'll tell you why The OST was originally uploaded by a guy "AlBirdVampPrince" and his channel got terminated recently. 99% of the people were listening the OST from there and this is why now the comment section moves here. I'm just not much of a fan of shooters, and I feel like plants vs. zombies was more special as a fun, cute little strategy game. The 3d stuff and shooting makes it seem just kinda... Forced? Cheesy? It's a completely different atmosphere from the original games and it just makes me cringe when I see people playing it. Whatever though, I'm cool with people liking it, it's just not my cup of tea, and I'll agree with anyone who also doesn't like it. That's pretty much it

I like the rest of the soundtrack but Ancient Egypt's main theme sticks out to me waay more probably because Laura did a better job of making it sound more tragic like in the first game, and it's really good.

I read someone on the internet described PVZ 1 music and Laura's style as "Theme of the Plants", while the guy who composed for everything that is Pirate Seas and after, as "Zombie Theme"... and it stuck with me. Truly, even Ancient Egypt has this... hope and makes it feel like the hopes are on your side, everyone wants YOU to win. And then, we have the rest of the soundtrack that... feels like they want Zombies to win. Not that I don't find Pirate seas or Big Wave beach, or Dark Ages bangers... but they fit the idea that nobody but YOU want to win. Devs make levels hard, you need to pay money to get better plants or seeds to win levels easier... noone wants you to win but YOU, and the music is grittier overall, more serious-ish, more real! PVZ 2 music is literally REAL, you literally can't say that PVZ 1 music is real, its unreal, contagious, and otherworldly, although grounded. I adore the instruments the composer uses, but that's it. If you gave me Laura's version of each world with a catch that I forget how the PVZ 2 current soundtrack sounds, you bet I'd take it. It's simple, Laura makes a song, it's instruments are switched to fit a world, and VOILA! Although she obviously takes a hint of inspiration by the level design, (you can obviously tell that music for a night level sounds very moody and NIGHT-ISH), but she takes a HINT. Somehow she doesn't revolve her music around the very idea of being in that level, but a hint. I can't explain it... just listen to her Pirate Seas version, specifically the version that someone revamped to make it sound like Pirate Seas soundtrack with instruments and etc.
