So H20 has one truly localized lone pair on oxygen And second lone pair is dispersed on entire molecule this is amazing The difference between simple Lewis structure and Real structure is truly extraordinary.
H2O has a c2v point group with the z axis being the principal rotation extending from the oxygen molecule. So the 1s of hydrogen would overlap with the 2pz orbital of oxygen, not the 2px.
Thank you for making such a nice video. For bent CH2, i assume that it has the same symmetry goup and the same molecular structure as H2O but why 2pz of CH2 is non-boding orbital while 2pz of OH2 is bonding? What is the difference sir?
I THINK YOU MADE A MISTAKE THERE YOU HAVE DRAWN SAI-1 AND SAI-2 GR ORBITAL ON SAME ENERGY LEVEL..... THEY ARE NOT DEGENERATE SAI-1 ={ SAI-1 H1+ SAI-1 H2 } SAI-2 ={ SAI-1 H1 - SAI-1 OF H2 } PLZ CORRECT IT❣️

Thank you so much for this video. You explained the matter very well!
You are really great... ❤️❤️
I think you have problem with H20
There are 2 sigma bond in h20 and 2 lone pairs are present. But you tell 3 sigma bond
9:48 Water is sp3 hybirdized not sp. It's just 2 2p orbitals are lone pairs
Good explanation
Why the combination of 2H in BeH2 to group orbital having the same energy ?
Thanks for video
But i have a question how there is 3 sigma bonds in water molecule in 12:02
I also want to know.
2s + sai1+ 2px, only 2px, and sai 1 - (2s + 2p from O2)
Hello, thanks for this video. Can you tell me what book did you use to prepare this lecture ?Thank you again
Its all my notes. You can find all on my website www.edmerls.com
Thank you sir 🙏🙏
I have one question how lobes of HYDROGEN ARE NOT APPROAVHING ALONG Z AXIX THKUH THEY ARE PARALLEL
Bro, Please make sure that what you are talking about makes sense to the viewers.

Sir you told h2o has three sigma bond and one lone pair.....plz explain
This is already explained in video..
Plz make video O3
thanks sir
What a stupendous video!
H2O has SP3 Hybridization (on Oxygen =Center atom) and not SP hybridization..
This video very helpful me🙏
Sir❤
Thanks
Welcome
Why is water molecule angular?
Because of lone pair of oxygen
Thank you
Sir ozone ka mo diagram pr video banay

Why in the combination of 2s -2px with psi 1 of water, It doesn't have the case that psi is opposite ?
