- Shiny Jumbo and Shiny Mini pokemon are INCREDIBLY RARE with the regular odds of finding one being around 1/33 MILLION! But finding one of these isn't impossible, so I set off on a journey to get myself a Shiny Jumbo Sylveon and a Shiny Mini Sylveon. This is by far the most challenging hunt I've done. Enjoy!

Love the fact that you've shiny hunted so many Sylveon you started to hallucinate random shiny Sylveon in Tera raid battles and even Area Zero
Once I hatched a shiny Slowbro for the Cinderace terra raid I started using my shiny Sylveon less and less.
He took that pretty personally, and ever since, Luwin would pop up to troll me in terra raids quite often. Before that, I never once got that glitch, but now he keeps popping up. Sheesh. Chill, bro. LOL
(And I am pretty sure Luwin put a curse on me that I won't get the shiny Pokemon with the preferred gender. Ugh.)

One of the rarest Pokémon would be a shiny antique Sinistea with the Jumbo or Mini Marks and the Rare Mark, with around a one in 6.7 trillion chance base odds. Eventually, someone will get it. After a few decades or so.

I really hope they'll update the game at some point to add the glitter and noise that Legends used to indicate nearby shinies. Not only can it help prevent accidents, but'll make things so much easier - especially for colourblind people.
They could also add a little shiny icon next to its names when you lock on to a pokemon
yeah-if it weren't for the shiny sound effect in legends i would've missed multiple shinies..i miss it in scarlet and violet :(

I’ve been hatching eggs with the matsuda method for almost a week now, and just as I started watching this video I hatched my first ever shiny eevee! It’s in a heal ball so I’m gonna evolve it into a sylveon as well.
Update: I just hatched a shiny dreepy in THE SAME BATCH. Watching these videos seems more effective than the shiny charm
I hatched a shiny Fuecoco and a max-sized Fuecoco in the same batch. Like holy shiat, coz max-sized/mini-sized Pokemon are the rarest of them all, but to get one by HATCHING is pure miracle.
I named shiny Fuecoco (who was one size above mini) Castamere, and his max-sized brother Gustave.
Hoping the ShinyCatherine luck rubbs off on me too. I'm 550+ eggs deep looking for a masuda shiny Froakie and it's getting bleak lol

Update: ShinyCatherine luck did in fact kick in got my shiny Froakie at 604 eggs
When she said there was an even larger shiny Sylveon I legit thought she was about to time travel until she found a shiny Sylveon raid den (which is possible... but not the sort of thing you can manipulate the odds for easily.)
I thought she intended to catch a shiny Alpha Sylveon in PL:A (or just Dynamax one in SwSh)

Shiny hunting in X&Y. I can recall my very first shiny, being Shiny Octillery in Fishing Chain. A decade later, and Im still shiny hunting. The amount of patience, and thrill of the hunt, and rewarding after a long hunt; shiny hunting is pretty fun, granted time consuming~

I've actually catched a shiny Giant Cyclizar in a random encounter with only the shiny charm. It is now known as Orike the Giant.

I had your videos in my recommended and I just need to say that they are incredibly well made, you make great use of the ingame world and your character to add a lot to your video and you manage to tell a compelling story from these self challenges even if we know you likely did it in the end, this style reminds me of youtubers like smallant or dougdoug while also feeling unique, very well done.

Mad respect for your dedication! I've been having such awful luck getting any herba mystica drops in raids that I've mostly given up and have started hatching any pokemon that I want shinies for. So far I've gotten all 3 starters, 1 gible, and 2 eevees.
Same, I have literally 1 Herba Mystica from dozens of raids.

What is your fastest wild encounter and/or egg hunt you’ve ever done? Mine was a shiny Beldum in sword in 82 encounters. That was also my first wild encounter hunt in sword lol.
Mine was a Vulpix in Sword which I find full odds at 27 encounters, since it doesn’t count as over odds until 50 encounters.
Mine was a Zorua in Alpha Sapphire with 14 encounters
I decided to go for a shiny zorua in alpha sapphire using the dexnav and ended up getting a shiny one on the first encounter 😂

I had never heard of anyone brave enough to find both size pokemon as shiny till this which introduced me to your channel.
At first, I got all my shinies from Wonder Trade and Ultra Wormhole in my Ultra Moon game.
In my old Ultra Sun game my first shiny, was a wormhole Magcargo, who ALMOST sweeped my team, but when I had no choice but to send out the level 2 Ladyba I had there to level up and evolve, it finally decided to stay in the ball, this is honestly the reason I defend shiny Magcargo because people hate it for being pink not silver like Slugma
This was not the first shiny I SEEN, the first shiny I saw other than the red garadose was a shiny Furret in my brother's old Heart Gold file
My first full odds shiny was a Cutiefly in Sword, I randomly encountered it when looking for raid battles, I accidentally run into an overworld Cutiefly, and it's SHINY, I evolved it into a Ribombee and named it Redbombee
Than I did my first shiny hunt, after I had a dream I found a shiny Golurk, so I decided to find it, so I did the murder method on Golett in Sword, I did eventually find it, but it ended up with Klutz, at that point I didn't care though
Later I did a hunt for Nickit in Sword, found her, than I turned on Pokemon Let's Go Eevee like 10 minutes afterwards and found a random shiny Psyduck
I still haven't found a single shiny outside of wonder trade in my Violet file :(
I’m shiny hunting Finizin a few days ago and I looked up how outbreaks work you get a shiny chance increase I know the max is defeating or catching 60 of the Pokémon in the outbreak. That’s when you have the best odds, you can increase those odds by having the shiny charm in the sandwich like you already said, I came out with six shiny Finizins

No, no, that's an actual thing. Sometimes the game just loads a model in some areas - the doorways of Leauge sites, inside the school, in the middle of a raid den. Myself I've gotten it to load a Repeat Ball, but this is the first time I've heard of it loading an entire Pokémon (and that the model glitches out when you change Pokémon status screens.)
Yeah, it typically loads a PokéBall when this happens so it surprised me to see a whole Pokémon appear. Though to be fair, I’ve seen a clip of a Vtuber who had Larry randomly spawn. So it probably works with any model.
TL;DR: GameFreak, fix your damn game. It’s not worth $60; especially not in its current state.

Yes! I have hunted legendaries in the past but none recently- but I still gotta hunt for shiny arceus and shaymin in brilliant diamond so there is that!

loved the video! so glad you got them both! i had the SAME glitch in area zero, but for me there was a shiny lechonk in the middle of the teleport pad… and it was on EVERY floor! once i closed the game it was gone, but it was the weirdest glitch i’ve experienced! 🤣
