This remix perfectly captures everything, the potrayal of "Asogre the broken king" and "Asogre the future destroyer of man" duality really shines through
Even in Deltarune, the whole "trying to make things right even if the means seem unfitting" thing persists, but in a much more mundane way. In both games, he just wants to make up for his failures for those he cares about, even if his attempts to do so are cringe-inducing at best or truly evil at worst. He is just trying his best.
Ignoring Deltarune (its a separate canon), Asgore is probably my favorite character from Undertale. The way he's hinted at, both feared and respected, only to meet him as he's watering his damn flowers. At first, he's jovial, almost glad to receive a visitor. Then he realizes you're no monster, he is. Then all the guilt and responsibility comes flooding back and he realizes he cant dodge the inevitable any longer. The Asgore fight is less against Asgore vs You, and more Asgore's Responsibility vs his Morality. Its why using items that remind him of his past actively weaken him, such as Toriel's Pie. Not to mention, if he *really* wanted you dead, as in no hesitation, I dont see why he wouldnt just absorb the 6 other human souls (knowing the player, it still wouldnt be enough, point being in Pacifist, Neutral, and Genocide, he still holds back even if it ends up killing him)

Then again, the souls might have realized that Asgore has good intentions. It's all up to speculation and we don't really have enough info to decide.
Games don't need to be AAA or with limitless replayability to become special forever in your heart. Undertale is a perfect proof. Thanks for the remix, Anthony killed it with the guitar and you as always with your oomph style

Easily the most underrated Undertale boss theme, ASGORE is probably the most emotionally resonant boss theme but it kind of gets overshadowed by the (also really great) other songs. Glad to see it get the attention it deserves!

I think it *would* be enough. Flowey could never beat Asgore, and Flowey isn't humble. However, the souls still might rebel.
