These segments of different phase songs kind of reminds me of "The 5 Stages of Grief", but in Papyrus's eyes. It doesn't seem like it fits, but think about it: 0:00 Phase 1: Not Accepting What Happened, or Denial (Papyrus could not cope to know that all his friends were killed, but here he is, standing and watching everything the [player] had done) 3:38 Phase 2 : Rage (Papyrus losing his mental control) 6:35 Phase 3: Bargaining (Papyrus {almost at the verge of mental hoplesness} imagining his friends being there, only to realize that they are not actually there. For some reason that Nick exclusive leitmotif (invented while making Floral Fracture NITRO Remix) in Striking the Demon Down at 5:21 seems to give a sense of grief. I finally got the backbone to listen to this. But in all seriousness, your Disbelief album might be the only time I listen to every song (Before putting backbone on loop).
Disbelief papyrus, as i see, portrays the 5 stages of grief phase 1: denial; papyrus pretend that nothing happened, that he stil can befriend you and live a happy life. He knows what you did but thinks that with just a lesson you can change, as he always would do phase 2: rage; papyrus is proven wrong, everything is going downhill, you killed them, you killed sans, you don't deserve his mercy, after all, you are the reason of all his loss phase 3: bargain; now he irrationaly tries to bargain, the lives of the ones he loved, but are not there anymore. he think they can be. he need them to know what to do. but... they're not. and he's lost phase 4: depression/acceptance; after a little glimpse of depression after the realization it was just his mind, and his friends are not alive, papyrus has to accept his situation. who he is. what he believe. even knowing you wouldn't have mercy, he gotta try, after all, that's what he've been denying all the time. there's no other hope. phase 5: angry again? not even canon, just bs

We just got out of Dbd, a very pleasant conversation we had in the end game chat. It was hilarious. My two friends didn't know who you were and they asked about you, all while you were AFK. I wish we met under more pleasant circumstances. I don't know if we should meet in the same game however XD.
The art is great, but, for some reason the music sounds a bit different compared to the individual uploads. Was that intentional? Or just some TH-cam nonsense? Like, phase 1, 2, 3, and 4 sound quieter here. Yet phase 5 sounds a bit louder.
I tried to make the leveling even, it varied a lot due to a headphone & interface switch mid through production. I had a lot of equipment fail for some odd reason. but then again most of it was 4-5 years old.
I really want to like this, but I don't know why but it just feels to.. Soft? I think that's the term I'm looking for. A vast majority of notes seem to blend together. I feel as though a sharper attack would make this sound better, though that may just be me. I doubt that you'll read this, but if you do, would It be difficult to reduce the attack in some of the softer sounding sections so that I can see how it sounds?
you know nick, there's a lot of things you've improved at over the years. for one, the guitars on these honestly sound amazing, i wish i could make something like that. and those violins? so emotional. plus the way all the instruments work together harmoniously, and stuff like mixing, mastering, etc, just overall these songs sound quite clean, and, dare i say, better than the old ones. buuuuuuut that being said, i feel like the drums are a bit... boring? it feels like now all you do for drums is use the same few mediocre loops for every song, not even any fills or anything, just a fast loop and a slow loop for everything. i'm exaggerating a bit - that's definitely not the case for all your songs, for example megalo strike back v4's drums worked well enough, shanghaivania v2 at least has some fills, and even backbone and painful retribution had at least a _little_ variation, but they could all be better, and i'm pretty sure the "you just use the same 2 loops" thing was literally true for at least interstellar retribution, striking the demon down, and final chance. plus i kinda feel like the samples themselves are just kinda eh. idk they might work good with other styles but i think your style could use some harder-hitting drums. (krimh drums free is a fantastic free metal drumkit for kontakt if you're not wanting to spend a lot of money.) anyways, thanks for reading and thanks for everything you do.
they aren't loops, I put them together myself but I won't defend it. I'm on a tight deadline, a new song remix every two weeks + artwork & my own video editing is rough. I have to cut corners, it's just me. my mistakes are just things I'll own while I improve.
@@NickNitro i wont say i know exactly how you feel cuz you have like 80x more subscribers than me and are probably under much more pressure than i was but i do get what your saying. i wish i could tell you to try slowing down on uploads but i know how youtube is. that being said i might say to try it anyway, (maybe upload every 2.5 or 3 weeks?) at least for a little bit, and if it doesnt work you can just go back to 2 weeks. you'll have more time to polish your stuff and also more free time to just goof off ig. i cant say for certain if it'll work for you but i can say it worked for me. also yea calling them loops was also a bit of an exaggeration lol. i mostly said that cuz i used to do the exact same thing with my drums and i call them loops in my head

I hear your criticism & will not be ignoring it. but most of the time when there's an error or something of the sort. it's not due to me neglecting but rather a deadline.
