jackson lol , Most arcades in the US have similar dance pad games. However, unlike this Japanese one, American ones have an arrowkey-like floor pad, and you step on the arrows as the arrows on the screen appear. It's a different play style, but essentially the same type of game.

I see how the one in the video is generally much much better than the ones in American arcades, but until American arcade game-makers decide that a dancing game that functions like this one is wanted/needed, the arrowkey dance-pad type of dance arcade game will have to do (unless you want to book a flight to Japan and try it out). It's the American alternative, even if the alternative is bad/worse. I don't think arcades are popular enough in the US to get something this advanced JUST for an arcade place, y'know? Most arcade places I have been to have relatively outdated-seeming and old games/play styles, and games seem to be rarely replaced or added. I can only assume that's with most arcade places in the US (and hell, when you look up "arcades...", one of the search suggestions are even "arcades are dead" [in the US]).
