And how you can dpdge the first one just by staying in the middle, which is a reference to the fact that you can dodge her attack by sitting in front of her
Ryetz I hope I am. I’ve seen Doremy do some extra stage gameplay so I’m sort of familiar with Touhou, but my broke butt can’t afford to buy any actual games. Sad life... still I need to see Cirno’s attack patterns. MUST CONFIRM THE REFERENCE
Jaja Jinks I am confused as how to even play most of the notes in this game. For example, I see they take the second off of the playfeild starting at 1:55.
@@trashgarbage7234 The song being played is Cirno's Perfect math class, there're even a Cirno image and the bullet hell part is a reference to Cirno's spellcards
This was amazing! The melody kept reminding me of "Teto territory" but I found out that this is the original? Interesting, thanks TH-cam recommendations!
So what's goin on there, is that all the lil blue glowy notes is the stuff they gotta avoid. those lil green arrow stuffs they gotta raise their hand above and as for the rest I'm equally lost but I can at least shed some light on that :P
Hopecaster Here’s what going on: Tap note (red singular note) - tap at the bottom sensor where the note falls ExTap Note (yellow singular note) - similar to Tap but will always get JUSTICE CRITICAL as long as you don’t miss the note (as opposed to the Tap note) Hold note - hold at the beginning and release at the end. 2 red notes at both ends + straight transparent yellow bar Slide Note - Similar to Hold Note, but slide across the sensor. 2 blue notes at both ends + blue transparent bar. Air Note (notes with the arrow going upwards) - flick the hand to the air (up till the level where the sensors on the side can detect) when the note hits the bottom Air Hold Note - a green solid bar after the Air Note. Hand must still be above the play area (where the side sensors can recognize). Putting it down counts as MISS Air Action Note (Air Tap Note - purple singular note up on the air) - flick in midair to hit. At this point, player can move the hand down back towards the sensor. Damage Note (singular blue note with electricity animation on top) - only appear in World End’s version of a song. Hitting that note will count as a MISS.
Akhimahathir posted a Google translated explanation of the game mechanics. Let's see if I can touch it up a bit. =============== A short description of the electric blue notes, for those who are confused: 1. Electric blue notes are Damage Notes. 2. Hitting a Damage Note will be judged the same as if you missed a regular note. 3. Missing a Damage Note is considered a JUSTICE CRITICAL. 4. Blue notes that are part of sliders aren't actually Damage Notes. 5. Hitting the key a Damage Note is heading toward is still considered hitting the Damage Note. 6. Damage Notes are categorized as Tap Notes... but Tap Note related skills will not work on them unless they have a tilde (~) mark on them. What is a skill? Skills are effects that will activate mid-song under certain conditions. Some examples of skill effects are: increasing the Clear Gauge (which I assume factors into how skills activate), automatically adding 6000 points to your score at the start of a song, adding extra points to your score at the end of the song, maxing out the Clear Gauge when you hit 10,100,000 points, adding 500 points to your score when you hit an Air Note with a combo of 5 or more, increasing the score notes give based on your current combo count, and immediately ending the song (given the nickname "Closing the Store") when you pass a certain score threshold. ~ Frequently Asked Questions ~ Q. What are Air Notes? A. Air Notes are the most unique feature of CHUNITHM. They're the green notes with the up arrows on them - if you don't throw your arm upward after hitting one (there's a sensor that needs to be passed) then it's counted as a miss. Q. How does this game judge your timing? A. There are four timing judgements: Miss, Attack (just hit the note), JUSTICE (hit the note with good timing), and JUSTICE CRITICAL. (hit the note with precise timing) Q. How strict is the timing? A. The timing of a JUSTICE CRITICAL can be reasonably compared to a P. GREAT in the Beatmania IIDX series. Q. What rankings can you get at the end of a song? A. From lowest to highest: D, C, B, BB, BBB, A, AA, AAA, S, SS, and SSS. Q.What is the minimum score required to get an SSS rank? A. You need at least 1,007,500 points to get an SSS rank. Q. I can't find the MASTER or WORLD'S END difficulties! What should I do? A. There are four ways to unlock the MASTER difficulty for a song. The first is to play that song on EXPERT difficulty and get an S rank or higher, regardless of whether you pass or fail. The second is to buy a ticket from your arcade's proprietor to let you play [an amount, unsure whether it's one, all, or somewhere in between] song(s) on MASTER difficulty. The third is to play a match against someone who is playing MASTER difficulty on that song. The fourth is to play a Course which contains a song at MASTER difficulty. As for WORLD'S END difficulty, the only way to play it is to buy a ticket from your arcade. Be warned, this difficulty is only for expert players! Songs may have effects applied to the note chart (think In The Groove modcharts), so WORLD'S END is completely unsuited for beginners. Q. What is Course Mode? What are assigned songs? A. In Course Mode, you play three songs in a row. Most courses will have specific songs played at specific difficulties - these are the course's assigned songs. You can play a set of three random songs as well, if you want. During a Course, your Life Bar will not be refilled between songs, and may decrease in different ways (think the Battery life bar from Dance Dance Revolution, for example), or you may be unable to refill it during a song, either. No matter where you are in the Course, you will be kicked out if your Life Bar ever hits zero. The final song in a Course is the Theme Song for the entire Course. Q. What is a beatmap? A. The beatmap contains all the notes that you will need to hit during a song. Q. What is High Speed? A. High Speed lets you adjust how quickly notes will travel down the screen to the judgement window. It does not modify the actual speed (or tempo) of the song, just the notes. EDIT: Q. Hold on a second! I saw a tutorial, and it didn't mention Damage Notes at all! In fact, it called blue notes "Slide Notes"! A. Unfortunately, that's what happens when you make assumptions about games you don't play, but are very much interested in. Damage Notes *are* real, but only implemented in certain songs. Let me go over the real list of note types: Bar alone = Tap Note: If you press any key that lines up with this note as it passes over the Judgement line, it will count as hitting the note, and will judge it accordingly. Otherwise, it's a MISS. Bar with straight vertical line out the back, typically orange = Hold Note: Same as a Tap Note, but you need to hold that key down until the next bar comes. Bar with curved line out the back, typically blue = Slide Note: Same as a Hold Note, but you need to slide your finger across the keys. Keep the keys you're pressing inside the cyan (or light blue) area! Bar with arrow pointing upward, typically green = Air Note: See the Air Note question above. Otherwise, functionally identical to a Tap Note. Comes in Hold varieties as well, where you need to hold your arm inside the Air Note sensor. Purple Air Notes (or Air Action Notes) may come while holding an Air Hold Note (or an Air String), which you must shake your arm to hit. Note that there is only one Air Sensor for the entire keyboard, so even if Air Action notes are coming down multiple columns, you only need to swing one arm. Yellow Notes = EX-Note: As long as you successfully hit the note, it will automatically be judged a "JUSTICE CRITICAL". Electrified Blue Note = Damage Note: As long as you do not successfully hit the note, it will automatically be judged a "JUSTICE CRITICAL". If you have the key pressed as it passes over the Judgement Line, it will count as a "MISS". Pressing the key as it approaches the Judgement Line, but before it passes over it, *might* not matter? Testing is required. Gray Note with Blue Middle = Scratch Note: To successfully hit this note, you need to swipe your finger across the entire note. This is why many CHUNITHM players wear gloves while playing - they don't want to scratch the touchscreen keyboard. I'm still not 100% sure about how this one gets judged, but I do know how to hit it successfully now! Q. What happens if I spam the keys in lanes that no notes are coming down, or if I hold a key past the end of a hold note into an empty lane? A. Nothing. Hold Notes are judged based on the accuracy of the starting key press. Q. How are songs considered beaten? A. If you've seen my previous version of this comment, you'd notice that I wrote that Skills can affect your "Skill Gauge". This has been corrected to "Clear Gauge". Clearing songs in CHUNITHM works on a system similar to Donkey Konga - as you score points, your Clear Gauge will fill up. When your Clear Gauge fills completely, one Clear Box will light up, from left to right, and the Clear Gauge will empty itself. When enough yellow Clear Boxes have lit up, you've beaten the song! Q. What tutorial were you watching? A. th-cam.com/video/YdaSvjWk0bA/w-d-xo.html Original comments by: Pochinkiくん akhimahathir04 This song was played at 1.5x note speed.

他音ゲーで例えるとP.GREAT(beatmania IIDXシリーズ)などのことです。
Q.CHUNITHMのクリアランクって何が一番最高なの?
A. D

This was amazing! The melody kept reminding me of "Teto territory" but I found out that this is the original? Interesting, thanks TH-cam recommendations!
You're right my friend, this song is the original
I thought Teto Territory was based off of Kero9Destiny! What the...?
@@dubstep298_tetradct I have no idea, I just assumed that this was the original... Oh well.
@@dubstep298_tetradct you are right my friend, Kasane Territory is an Utau remix of Kero 9, which again is a cover of Native Faith.
@@lolekj2863 The song playing in the video is Cirno's Perfect math class, another cover remix of Beloved Tomboyish Girl

I wish i was smart enough to understand what is happing, but alas i am not.
Unhappypanda And I wish I had the chance to get to play this. Lol
So what's goin on there, is that all the lil blue glowy notes is the stuff they gotta avoid. those lil green arrow stuffs they gotta raise their hand above and as for the rest I'm equally lost but I can at least shed some light on that :P
Hopecaster Here’s what going on:
Tap note (red singular note) - tap at the bottom sensor where the note falls
ExTap Note (yellow singular note) - similar to Tap but will always get JUSTICE CRITICAL as long as you don’t miss the note (as opposed to the Tap note)
Hold note - hold at the beginning and release at the end. 2 red notes at both ends + straight transparent yellow bar
Slide Note - Similar to Hold Note, but slide across the sensor. 2 blue notes at both ends + blue transparent bar.
Air Note (notes with the arrow going upwards) - flick the hand to the air (up till the level where the sensors on the side can detect) when the note hits the bottom
Air Hold Note - a green solid bar after the Air Note. Hand must still be above the play area (where the side sensors can recognize). Putting it down counts as MISS
Air Action Note (Air Tap Note - purple singular note up on the air) - flick in midair to hit. At this point, player can move the hand down back towards the sensor.
Damage Note (singular blue note with electricity animation on top) - only appear in World End’s version of a song. Hitting that note will count as a MISS.
isnt that hard to read if u compare to osu
@@hankaoc9532 what... osu has much simpler gameplay judging by mechanics alone
Akhimahathir posted a Google translated explanation of the game mechanics. Let's see if I can touch it up a bit.
===============
A short description of the electric blue notes, for those who are confused:
~ Frequently Asked Questions ~
(hit the note with precise timing)
EDIT:
Let me go over the real list of note types:
Bar alone = Tap Note: If you press any key that lines up with this note as it passes over the Judgement line, it will count as hitting the note, and will judge it accordingly.
