This came out in during the height of single player games having silent badass military special operatives. To see guys at the bottom of the chain of command who were funny, screwing up all the time and going AWOL for selfish reasons was brilliant. It was basically what Deadpool did to big superhero movies. Yes it's a military first person shooter but it's simultaneously making fun of its own genre.
Same I just came from ps2 and was downloading a bunch of demos and I couldn’t get enough so I went and bought the game . Then after that I discovered multiplayer . Then I got a “flatscreen” and it was legit like a what remaster would have looked like made me think how was I playing it before that

Man I loved this game! Would always play late throughout the night just to get kills and keep my rank 2 from falling, they had the most unique ranking system that even today no other game has. The epic moments especially sniper vs sniper battles, where there was no such thing as spotting so you can just hide in the bushes and blend in! Especially on harvest day map rush mode, wait for the guy to get on the artillery and then boom 💥headshot! Quickly run for and jump on the artillery, and yes I knew the artillery glitch getting multiple shots with no reload time penalty, and then oh no tank is comming! Hide hide! No other battlefield game created this level of excitement for me
i hope they make another game with these guys again..like they spent all there money already and the government comes to them with a huge mission..it would be great
I would kill to be 10 again playing this. Especially the sounds of the AH64, and fast rapid firing suppressed SMGs.....grenades with happy pins....what else could you ask for!

In my opinion I think is going to be after what happened in Battlefield 4 and then battlefield bad company 3. Petty much only like 2 battlefield field games are made using a frostbite engine generation. Battlefield 2042 and the battlefield after following battlefield 4 will be using the Frostbite Engine 4. And I think on Battlefield Bad company 3 they will be using Frostbite 5 engine. Dice makes battlefield games every 2 or 3 years I think this time will take about 3 years since games are getting bigger and more detailed to look almost like real life it make sense that takes longer...3 years make sense so I spect Battlefield Bad company 3 running on the Frostbite 5 engine like in 5 or 6 years from NOW. I MEAN do the math Battlefield 2042 will be here for 3 years then the new battlefield game following battlefield 4 story will be out in 3 years from now then wait another 3 years and there we have Battlefield bad company 3 total years 6 years from now untill we see Battlefield Bad Company 3 running on Frostbite 5 Engine.

Without nostalgia this game is ok. Destructive environment, sound etc. is still good. But the dialogues and boring missions got me off real quick. Nothing beats Halo for me in the shooter genre.

Black Ops isn't a downhill,until Black Ops 3.

I LOVE this game. The characters were fucking amazimg. I hate all the other games. The original is better.

The missions were too long but sometimes are really funny and the weapons fell uncontrolable with tha recoil
