Jason if I lived closer I would weigh 800lbs because I'd be at your door every time you make these sweet treats! This is awesome and I KNOW they taste good too!
They are sooooo cute and beautiful! Love them. Just a thing of mine, I lay the peeps on the counter till they get stale. The outside gets a crust. I know I am a little left of center, but they are good!
Thanks Tess! Most people I know let them get stale before eating them. I can't stand them when they are soft and squishy but I don't mind when they get crusted over, LOL!!
If I were to make these again, I would add a few tablespoons of peanut butter to the marshmallow mixture to give them a bit more flavor. They are kinda plain as they are. ;-)
So cute and creative. I may have to keep putting my hands in water everytime cause spray may not work on my hands either. I gain some pounds just watching ur videos! They all look so good!
I saw in a comment below you said you would add PB the next time you make this. I don't make Rice Krispie Treats with marshmallows. I use our family recipe which consists of sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter and Rice Krispies. I think I will try the recipe with chow mein instead of the cereal and see how that turns out. Thanks for sharing a great idea for Easter!!!
Thanks for the idea! That's how I make PB rice krispie treats as well but someone mentioned adding PB to the marshmallow mixture somewhere else on the web so suggested that. I know many people get discouraged with making candy on the stove top so it's the next best thing. Thanks for watching!
Jason those would be so rich but delicious at the same time. I've gotta look for those chow mein noodle thingies, they'd make a great snack on their eon, but they're deep fried aren't they?

I think they are fried but they make a great munchy snack! Super crunchy and delicious!! I love them on my cashew chicken. :-)
Oh yum they definitely would taste fantastic with that dish. Thanks jason xo
Have you ever tried the different flavors like bubble gum, blue raspberry, sour watermelon, lemonade, or birthday cake?
I have not. I'm not a fan of marshmallows in general so I shy away from all the different types, LOL!!
Cool
Peeps are really hard to find here? Found some rabbits but no chicks? So it looks like the small ones for us, lol.
On the Peeps website they have a peeps finder. I got mine at Hy-Vee so surely you can get them. :-)
The Hy-Vee we shop at is out of the chicks. They say they will have more?
Jason, these are very cute. Peep-less please. ;)
I ate the peep-less ones and the roommate ate the peeps, LOL!! ;-)
I'm Asian
Bearish fluky123 good 4 you lol does that have anything to do with the recipe other than the chow mein noodles
DO NOT EAT MY CHILDREN!
