Thank you for a new video :) I didn't know that the original Houdon's John Baptist is lost and that what they have in the Borghese gallery is a plaster copy! Also I'd like to point out that the ecorche on the right at 2:25 was created by Scott Eaton as a reimagined version of Houdon's work. It was even available for purchase (46 cm tall) but unfortunately has been sold out for several years now :(
