Just bought my first bike, a 1994 Suzuki Intruder VS1400 for $2000 Canadian and absolutely love it! Perfect starter bike for me and I couldn’t be happier! Got hard bags and a nice bat wing fairing on the front, all blacked out. SHE IS MEAN!!! Gonna put a little more custom work into it this winter while it’s laid up. Slamming through the gears is the best feeling I’ve ever had!!
I bought a 1996 1400 intruder for 1375.00 on ebay, one owner, had 49k miles on it, now 51k, 4speed, love that about it , runs great for a 23 year old bike

Travis W Moore8988 I have had several boulevards the C50 the C90 the S40 and more the VS1400 is one of their best you do not have to adjust the valves they are hydraulic just ride that all day long put a Mustang seat on it and enjoy!!! Suzuki makes a great machine!
I bought a 96 intruder 800 bobber for 2 grand. 19k miles but it's my first real bike. I've wondered if I got a decent deal or screwed or something 8n the middle. It does have drag bars and came with semi apes and has a custom paint job but its one color, no graphics.

Not wrong. 5 years after the divorce and I'll be buying my first bike next month, own everything outright, got a boat last year..... all the things we could never afford with two incomes AND I still have the house whose mortgage always seemed to be a struggle before.
Yamaha V-Star was my first bike. Was great practice with it, but the Honda Shadow beats it in almost every way. One thing I didn't like about the V-star after upgrading is that it has very bad low-end power, but the max speed was surprising (probably because its very light for a cruiser). If your going to get an entry-level cruiser, my suggestion is the shadow, now I ride a Honda VTX 1800 while my other 2 bikes collect dust.

Bikes are at an all time low. My buddy bought a street glide 2012 new for about 20k. Ive got another friend who just bought a used 2013 street glide with 12k miles for 7800,never dropped. Clean clean clean.

Yamaha Stryker!! It was my first bike I bought it for 5 grand out the door. They are low mean and plenty of power. Loved that bike.

Currently ride a 1985 VTC750 Honda Shadow, paid $1000 for it in 2018. Put 20,000 km on it last summer, great bike, bulletproof. Original Motor and transmission, Go for a Honda, I've had three Honda's, very reliable and fun
2005 thru 2010 triumph rocket 3 for under $ 5000. I know I bought one,and had it delivered to my home from Illinois to Rhode Island for $347 in shipping. Love the videos.
I just traded a 14’ Jonboat rig w/2 HP Honda four stroke outboard straight across for a 1999 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic, our sell prices were the same, he needed a boat, I needed a bike, the trade was perfectly equitable, so basically I got a great cruiser bike for no additional out of pocket expense!
It rides great too, perfect backroads Cruiser!
He just chatted me that he had the boat out on the lake with his kids, and they caught a bunch of fish, had a great time

I have an '08 roadstar 1700 paid 3k. I absolutely love it.
I picked up an 05 1200 xlc sportster with 9,000 miles for $4,200. it's a great bike! It's not tiny, it has a bigger tank and lots of chrome! Came with drag pipes, a 21" front wheel, and adjustable shocks.

I just bought a 2009 Suzuki M50 special edition with 15k miles for $2,500. Great bike so far. It's my 4th bike but not a bad choice for a beginner.
It will cost you extra for the clown suit to go with those tall handlebars some of those cruisers have.

@xwriter100 The trick is to stay inline or below your shoulders. Higher than that and it will impede blood flow (plus, it looks silly to be reaching up for your bars).
I just got a Cbr300r and I love it. Excellent bike and it even rides well for a big guy like me (6”3 - 220lbs). Good list for cheap bikes!

Boulevard C50 and SV650S both run for cheap, and both are amazing bikes.

Great video, I got sucked into the Harley scene. Traded in my gsx-s for an 06 Heritage Softail with 24,000 miles. After watching your vids with higher mileage Harleys I wasn’t worried about it. Love it, riding a Harley is very different than a metric.

No just the weight of a Harley is down low. My Yamaha carried the weight high. You can feel the difference, even though the bikes are close in weight!
My Brothers Odometer just hit 250k miles, he's running an 06 Heritage. Proper maintenance, and time will have your bike running forever. Hope you enjoy the ride man.

Bought my first bike 2 years ago and making it better every year. 95 Sportster 1200 14k miles, for $2,000 and I still ride more than most people I know. They gotta keep those miles low while the payments and $95 per hour dealer services are killing their paycheck to pay for that heffer hauler.

I love my ‘05 VTX1800 F3. Picked it up back in 2016 for under $5000. With less than 5k miles. And it had some extra goodies. Love it and it’s a bad ass bike.

Just bout a 2006 900 vulcan with cobra pipes,bags, and bat faring, 10,000 miles for $2,500 in mint condition. Had to rent a uhaul motorcycle trailer for $15 to pick it up. Good deals are out there if you take the time to look and are willing to travel outside your city

I have a 94 Dyna Wide Glide hopped up with 100 hp at rear wheel and it's the most comfortable motorcycle I have ever owned and at 74, I have owned quite a few. Even more comfortable than my old Goldwing. My 72 Yamaha 2 stroke R5C will always be my favorite.

I have a large # of bikes and I love Bobber style bikes which I have built out of almost all Hondas which are Chaindrive Same with Kawasaki VN-800 & 900s.I do have a 2019 Indian Scout Bobber ,2016Triumph Bobber and a 2012 Triumph Thruxton...The BEST score on a bike was last month when I found a ONE OWNER,Garage Kep 2006 ZX12R with just at 2000 orig miles which George purchased new in 06 when he was 51..He then Lowered it with a Titanium Two Brothers 4 into 1 Header with a Titanium Two Bros. RSR Carbon Fiber Can shorty exhaust along with a Powercommander & Tune.. I paid just UNDER $3000 CASH!!!The ZX12R IS MORE COMFORTABLE THAN MY 14 ZX14R!! & A HELL OF A LOT CHEAPER
