  • Work in progress, so there's lots left to do here. Not all notes are good. It's just so exciting for me to hear it play after all this work!
    More details:
The organ is a "Topsy 3," by John Smith. Plans for the organ are available here: www.johnsmithbusker.co.uk/
The midi control board is an MTP-8 by J-Omega electronics, j-omega.co.uk
The midi player and register control board are from Klinger Organ, www.klingerorgan.com
Loads of advice and info from Mel Wright, www.buskerorgan.co.uk
And, if you want to follow my progress, I'm logging some of my challenges in the Busker Organ Forum here: www.tapatalk.com/groups/buske...

This brings me so much joy, and I don't know why.

    What solenoids are you using?

The main windchest is has 66 pallet valves; 26 of them are brand new Peterson 50-ohm 5/8" valves; 22 are Reisner, I think, but I had to make the valves for them. The rest are old Reisner that I rebuilt. The accompaniment chest has 12 12v push/pull solenoids I got from Adafruit. I made valves for those, but a bunch of them are clunking inside their chest, that's the clackety sound you hear.
