This tiny home has 1/5 of the square footage of my stick built home for 3/4 the price I paid for mine. I'll wait for you to do that math...this is NOT a bargain, this is a sham.
I've been watching tiny home layouts for about 10 years and this is the BEST one I have ever seen! Perfect for elderly and no more crawling to your bed in a loft.
Nice floor plan. Still too many windows 🪟 for my personal taste. I believe you can take out some of the windows. I like wall space, not a glass 🏠. Otherwise, a great design with no lofts and everything on the same level... Alright Mr Tiny. The price is more reasonable....✅💯❗
Yesssss finally. loft bedrooms not practical for everyone. i would want it about a 3 ft wider though and later add a back and front porch deck. love the colour pop
i would like an extra toilet area - it is a need, just like avoiding crawling up stairs for elderly couples - too many close calls and it is painful to wait and hold it; If you live alone, it's perfect!
This guy is a natural speaker and should be an entertainer, he makes me smile every time I watch his videos! Love Mr. Tiny Timmons, not to mention the amazing tiny homes!!!
He sounds like telemarketer, it felt really fake or like over the top for me. I was really inconfortable watching him. But I think it's a cultural difference, even though Americans are also westerners, things from the USA feel sometimes so alien to me. Interesting to see your and others point of view about it, it surprised me.
Sounds like used car salesman to me. Appropriate since permanent tiny homes as year round living are only legal in about 5 states and don’t meet most local building codes or zoning requirements either. But really folks you better think about this, they are cheaply built. You are paying for this one $163/sq ft - outrageous. It’s a decked out shed that won’t last very long and don’t meet hurricane codes for sure. Florida and California are two states that are friendly to them - not two states I would want to live in 250-400 square foot with bad storms, coastal flooding, wildfires, earthquakes, bad snow storms depending on where you locate. Then in Texas they allow them - their own set of issues with the border. Most of these are built way out away from civilization and people have to frequently drive several hours to town because that’s where they need to be built to not rile up the people with nice big expensive homes - they don’t want these to bring their property values down. Some folks I know thought this was such a good deal, bought one in Texas from a model, saw the development before anything was built, bought and paid for it - went home and downsized and packed to move in. They lasted less than 6 months. Couldn’t sit in the yard that the flying tree roaches didn’t carry them off, not to mention thr liquors and scorpions and worrying about people coming across the border. These tiny homes are exactly built all that string to someone breaking in. The thing was awfully built, shook with the winds, no insulation underneath and with 2x4 construction not much insulation in the walls and it was spray foam which they think is what affected his lungs. But he got sick in first couple of months but the drive to town was too long - about 2 hours each way and had to do it often for groceries because there isn’t much storage inside. Plus they had to go for the doctor, medicine, etc. The large lot turned out to be where they could literally shake hands with the neighbors off the porch and deck they had added. They seemed so friendly until a couple of months later when their bbq grill smoke came in their home, they were up partying or fighting at 2 am and then the screaming grand-baby moved in so the unwed mother could stay in town and work and/or go to school. The so called lovely view disappeared with all the loft style ones built in front of them - it was promised to be set up so everyone had a splendid view.. They ending up selling at a considerable loss, and at 75, with him sick, had sold their home, and now nowhere to go. It was quite sad. They had given up most of their beloved possessions, thought they were going to have this lovely community and it was basically a trailer park where no laws insisted people had to do anything and nothing was illegal. Neighbor two homes over, shooting off guns all times of night and day. If you can build one in your backyard maybe that’s fine. My local doesn’t allow you to live in one full time and as long as it meets some “off the books” codes - it’s okay. But technically it’s not legal for a home - just a shed. . These are a cute dream, and maybe okay for young kids just getting started until they can make enough money to build a regular home. But I don’t see good for a family. You really need to think about it. $163/sq ft can buy a decent house. Granted more than $65k due to total square footage but you don’t have to buy or building $3-4,000k sq ft. A home in the 12-1500 sq ft is very comfortable and 1,800 is quite adequate. I have spent 35 yrs in less than a 1,000 and have one bath, 3 bedrooms. Very large eat in kitchen, adequate living room, large porch and deck, storage, etc etc - a regular home. People here have raised families - a friend of mine there were 3 boys and 1 girl, a grandfather, and the two parents - they did fine. Gosh my grandfather - there like 9-10 children (born 1905), parents, grandparents in 2 rooms, 1 upstairs and 1 down and the basement. Of course no bathrooms - outhouse outside, wood cook stove. I asked where did you guys sleep said wherever you found a space - outside, inside, just wherever. He said in the winter, your clothes would be wet and you threw them on the chair and in the morning had frozen. Said you thawed them out and dried at the same time backed up to wood stove. He said when asked about the roughness - said it didn’t bother them - didn’t notice any difference, it was all they knew. And as long as they were together, it was all that mattered.
@@ladeammamcmoore7148 - maybe if it was a holiday cabin, and you wanted space for kids or guests! This looks more for grown ups, and they've done it tastefully. The barn doors could be adjusted to mirrored inside frames.

He kind of reminds me of the Duke in Bridgeton. And, back to the point of the video, this is the cutest tiny home I've seen in a long time. It looks like it would make a very homey home. I like it.
Mike, you do an AWESOME job with your presentation of tiny homes! A true pleasure to watch, listen and learn. Your sense of humor is superb! Well done!
Hey! Cabinets! It isn't a real kitchen without cabinets. Glad someone knows that. And a bathtub. I rent a tiny cottage right now and there are times I miss having a good soak. I like the style of the barn doors. I don't expect a chicken to come flying out.. Really, if I had the money I'd buy this today. Congratulations on a terrific tiny home.
It seemed to be a cozy tiny house. Love it. Also, instead of having a normal sofa, It can be replaced with a queen size sofa bed with a drawing curtain to separate the dinning/kitchen area during the night when any friend or family member could come over for an overnight stay.
This is one of the first tiny homes I actually feel like I could live it, I love the floor plan and I do beleive this man could sell anything to anyone haha

Good presentation, Mr. Tiny! From the video it appears that you use quality materials and good taste putting it all together. Are your home's only available to live in on a busy street? Can one be built on my own property? And how does your financing work? Thank you.
This is a fabulous tiny home. I really wouldn’t even call it that. It feels so spacious and thank you for not having a bed up in a loft where you have to climb up a ladder to get to it

Love all of the colors in this home. The backsplashes, countertops, and floors are all nicely complimented by that beautiful blue. It's a bit smaller than my apartment, but much nicer.
This one is beautiful and like others have said, it’s great because there is no loft. I’m only 5’ but with some of tiny homes I’ve seen, even I would have to duck in a bedroom loft. Also, I like the centrally location of the bathroom. Good job showing this one. I’d like to put this one on my mountain property and use it as an airbnb.
I really love this Tiny Home. I'm older and all that climbing up and down to get to the bathroom while half asleep from a loft bedroom is not advisable. Although having the loft would give an area for storage. The "Toucan" is an awesome little one bedroom crib.
Wow... just perfect. Can't go wrong with this especially for someone like me who can't do stairs. By far, this is my favorite of all. Thanks for sharing this. Great job Mr. Tiny ☺️.

Finally a tiny home that’s more accessible for seniors and maybe some disabled people too ♿️. Especially if the countertops & light switches were lower, and the tub was replaced by a walk in shower or walk in shower-tub combo. This little cottage is adorable! You are the first tiny house designer I’ve seen on TH-cam who has tried to think of everything to make a little home more efficient for nearly everyone. How thoughtful & considerate of you! I’m a new subscriber. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Always come to see him punch the wood shelf in the closet 😂 The delightful Mr Tiny. If I ever buy a tiny home, I’m definitely buying from him. I wonder if he’ll ever do push-ups in a loft for us? 😍
This is a sweet home. I would switch the fridge with the extras cabinets so the cabinets and counter are beside the stove. This will make the hallway easier for a wheel chair. Placing the fridge on the outer wall facing the kitchen makes it easier for someone in a wheelchair to get in the fridge, put what they want on their lap and turn around in the open floor space. They dont have to back up around the corner to turn around.
@@channelldaniels594 yeah but if you were actually going to live there like that was your home I'm a senior citizen so that was the way I was thinking you'd still need more closet space so you'd have to get you a platform bed with drawers or put a regular bed up on those platform things that raise it up about I don't know 8 to 10 in and then put you some beans under your bed you have to have some way to put more clothes in there I'm just thinking and I'm not even a clothes horse I've got a regular what I call regular room closet and then I'm using half of another of the same closet and I still have on my hanging clothes and my dresser which I moved in with my brother and I'm just using his bedroom suit it's a bed with a night table at a dresser and then I have my own desk and I couple chairs in my room so I got all that kind of stuff, but it's storage that's needed... You could fix storage with the way I describe the bed but got to have some more hanging space if this is a permanent type home if it's just a vacation thing it's perfect and you could put a narrow table up against those windows and put a charity chin and two on one side I need to have plenty of room for four people at the table and two at the bar all the cabinetry with that built-in buffet I think you called it you could easily put in a dishwasher cuz if you don't have her for a double sink how you going to wash dishes wash them and have the hot water running in the dish water all the time no cuz there's all those cabinets with the buffet two wild ones that are same direction as a type of would go in those other two normal size that kind of go diagonal towards the sink I love it I love the blue and the gray so it looks really really nice and I don't even like blue that well
This looks perfect for a single retired guy like me. I've seen several of your videos, an I have a few questions: 1. Do people choose tankless water heaters to save space? Are they feasible? 2. Do people choose wall-mounted climate control units? (I think Motorola is one brand.) Are they feasible? 3. Are these tiny homes sufficiently insulated for areas where winters are very cold? 4. Are surfaces like backsplashes and those barn doors customizable?
Thank God! Finally someone has designed a smart tiny home! A side door, no loft, no treacherous stairs. This is actually livable. Good job!
This is the exact same question I asked him earlier on IG! It just makes sense. Id rather stand upright then have two floors
Can you send me pricing, for 400 to 450 sq ft and pictures?
Cocokai, Yes the side door would be ideal for a wheelchair/walker ramp. Just extend the metal roof over the ramp for bad weather.

Love the overall layout. Functional. Thanks for showing this model.
Lovely color palette and great utilization of space.
I enjoy your attitude Mr. Tiny!
Me Too
Great starter home or home for a retired person. It has all I need to start my journey. Add a loft and it would be perfect for me.
Love this home ♥️ the layout is perfect ♥️
Does that yellow door ever pop wow! 🔵🟡🔵
I wish I was ready and knew more about all the in and outs of buying a tiny home. All the blue accents had me sold
This is more like a single wide or park model trailer.
This tiny home looks great!
He is a fantastic salesman. He is such a awesome. I would love a bigger one.
This one is amazing! Room for a dishwasher, plenty of kitchen cabinets, tub/shower, room for a queen size bed and plenty of built-in storage.
Mike, you’re the best tiny house tour host, hands DOWN! Subscribed! 🙌
Always come to see him punch the wood shelf in the closet 😂
The delightful Mr Tiny. If I ever buy a tiny home, I’m definitely buying from him.
I wonder if he’ll ever do push-ups in a loft for us? 😍
Living in a tiny home would drive me crazy, even one as cute as this one is, but I sat through the sales pitch since Mr. Tiny was giving it.
Finally, a tiny home I could actually live in! Now just make the bedroom big enough for a king-size bed.
Cute place! My husband and I look forward to your weekly videos. You are hilarious!!
I just love this one floor tiny home. The floor plan is designed so well.
Who IS this man? That voice, that delivery, the details he highlights! Brilliant.
This is a beautiful tiny house... The best I've seen.
Love the blue doors. Nice. I would like more hanging closet. I would raise those bars and add another set below so double hanging
Put in a platform bed with storage underneath.
There are 2 seperate spaces see the other slide door as hecexits.
@@wendy833 that's what I thought of Wendy was the platform bed with drawers
You could fix storage with the way I describe the bed but got to have some more hanging space if this is a permanent type home if it's just a vacation thing it's perfect and you could put a narrow table up against those windows and put a charity chin and two on one side I need to have plenty of room for four people at the table and two at the bar all the cabinetry with that built-in buffet I think you called it you could easily put in a dishwasher cuz if you don't have her for a double sink how you going to wash dishes wash them and have the hot water running in the dish water all the time no cuz there's all those cabinets with the buffet two wild ones that are same direction as a type of would go in those other two normal size that kind of go diagonal towards the sink I love it I love the blue and the gray so it looks really really nice and I don't even like blue that well
I love this one. The blue accent is so pretty!
Hello Tracy 😊
This looks perfect for a single retired guy like me.
I've seen several of your videos, an I have a few questions:
Great questions!!
I like the tiny homes with the bedroom you can fit a king size bed
I really like the kitchen layout and the flooring.
I keep coming back to look at this one. Really like all the counter space. Would I miss not having a loft???
