Wow, last time we beat a 7+ Run Deficit was in 2018. This year just got more interesting. Hoping Dansby is feeling better soon. It's unfortunately rare when clubs sign new players that actually look and play like they wanna be there. Go Cubs!

This comeback deserves a REWIND
Best comeback win in MLB so far in this short season. Just a great game to watch.
I turned this game off when it was 6-0 because I wasn't in the mood to watch the Cubbies get slaughtered. A few hours later I get a text from my wife "Cubs WON 14-9". I couldn't f'ing believe it. I mean I have really liked what I've seen from this team so far, but I just was absolutely not remotely expecting THAT! With Suzuki and Hendricks set to return sooner than later and the young prospects that will be coming up this season and the seasons to follow, I'm positively stoked for what this team has in store!
I'm sorry, I don't care how early in the season it is. If you choke a 7-0 lead as soon as you get it, you're not going anywhere.
They might as well be ending their season before it could even get started. That was unforgivable.

What a wild game. I referred to this as my cigar game of the night as I bet over 10.5 runs and had the bet won by the 4th inning and I sat back, puffed my cigar, sipped my whiskey, and added to my stack! This would be a great world series if these teams got to the playoffs and made some noise

That Win Probability is one of the dumbest things I've seen for a baseball statistic.
How? Isn't it based on how many times teams have been in that situation and how many times teams have gone on to win from those positions? I can research and get the answer, but aren't the numbers generated by 10s of thousands of simulations and how many times teams can win? Seems fairly easy to understand.

3 big free agents Swanson, Mancini, and Hosmer have been excellent so far for the Cubs. This team can just flat out hit.
